The apartment was equipped with a full kitchen, washer and drying rack. Walk to the bus stop was about 5 minutes. Staff responds quickly to our questions.

The management of this boutique apartment is excellent. They allowed us to check in early and were very considerate. In Almaty, this is quite rare — people usually charge for every little thing, but they didn’t charge me at all. The apartment itself was clean and cosy, and the location is perfect, with all sorts of amenities nearby.

“This place seems a little distant from the main tourist area but is close to a bunch of restaurants.”
Almaty is kind of a weird city because it didn't really feel like there was a single downtown but rather spread out clusters of hot spots. This property feels a bit removed from the main cluster (assuming main cluster is out toward the cathedral) but is close to another one that seems to attract more locals than tourists.
