Check-in was seamless and simple, access code used to get keys. Good little kitchen, really powerful, hot shower. Mattress was fairly comfortable.

The location is great. The apartment itself is very good. Very well equipped kitchen, nice spacious bathroom with good shower pressure. However, from the moment reached the property I never stopped having problems. First when I reached there, the wrong keys safe code was given to me, it was dark and raining when I reached there, after unsuccessfully trying the code I called them then I got the right code. Once in, I realised the smoke alarm was beeping after very few mins. I called them again but the lady said she can't come, will have to wait for the next day. I was so tired that day after a whole day hiking, I desperately needed a good sleep, so was disappointed to hear that it cannot be fixed, then went in the kitchen, used the sink only to realised that the sink is blocked, I took a picture and send it to the owner, only then she decided to come, and I'm greatful that she did came and took the battery off and sorted the sink. Then after a few days, the heater went off and I did not had heating all night, I informed them, then next day I put the washing machine on only to have the whole kitchen flooded. But they did came and get everything fixed. And somebody even put my washing on the line for me which I'm very thankful for. But it was just to much problem one after the other, all these issues could have been fixed before putting the property up for rent! The bedroom also have a strong smell of damp. I didn't see damp anywhere but the smell was there. Also on booking.com they did mention of complemtary teas coffees, bring your own tea coffee with you, all the tea coffee, sugar boxes was all empty. There were few pack of herbal tea which have expired few years ago. There were quite a few different spices there, I didn't use them as I had my own with me. Easy parking right in front of the house which was a bonus.

This was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had. When we arrived it was immediately obvious that the property had not been cleaned following the previous guests. The beds had clearly not been changed and the bedding had pubic hair all over used and was unwashed. There were wet, dirty towels left on the floor, bins full from the previous guests and the smell was overwhelming. The overall condition of the property was extremely unhygienic. It was completely unacceptable and not somewhere anyone could reasonably stay. We had no choice but to leave immediately and find alternative accommodation at short notice. The host acknowledged that the property had not been cleaned, which only confirmed what we had already discovered on arrival. What made the situation even worse was the lack of support afterwards. Despite reporting the issue and providing evidence, the matter was not properly resolved by either the host or Booking.com. We spent a significant amount of time trying to resolve the issue and were left out of pocket and extremely stressed. As the issue remained unresolved, I have now been forced to pursue legal action to recover the costs. I would strongly advise anyone considering this property to think very carefully before booking. Please also be aware that the property is in a very bad area.

The property was lovely, comfortable and perfect stay for visiting our family. Me and my brother stayed and it was easy to move the beds apart and have a comfortable stay. The shower was amazing and the flat was really well decorated. The beds were also really comfortable! Also really easy to park outside the property.

We were unable to check in at stated time, which is late anyway being 4pm. The apartment wasn't ready, and, when checkout is before 10am that's bad. Everything you need is there. Beds comfortable, bathroom adequate, could do with upgrade of radiator and tiles in shower need regrouting. Few little things could be improved, but overall we enjoyed our week. Perfect for visiting the places we wanted to see.

The apartment was fully equipped for our stay, oven, hob, washer dryer, fridge freezer, wall mounted TV, the shower is great a lovely powerfull flow and good heat. The beds are really comfortable and supportive. The pillows were some of the best we have ever slept on and kept their shape. We had one slight issue with the dishwasher, but this was resolved within 12 hours, which we really appreciated. The owners responded so quickly to our request and kept us updated. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and was warm when we needed it through the thermostat controller. I cook all of our meals, and there were more than enough pans, trays, and utensils available, as well as the normal salt, pepper, oil etc there were some herbs and spices which is above the norm. We had a good few days of sunshine and were able to use the table and chairs in the rear garden / patio area for breakfasts and relaxation and lucky enough to be visited by a neighbours' lovely black cat. There is a nicely tended front garden area too. The neighbours were very pleasant and all said hello, the upstairs neighbour was kind enough to even put the bin out when I forgot which was nice of him. We know the local area, as were originally from this area and there are many things to see and do, there are hill walks along the Ochils hills, Alva and Dollar Glen's, The Japabese garden at Dollar, Alloa and Clackmannan towers, Stirling Castle, and it's separate ancient hospital and prison, the Bannockburn 1314 Heritage Center, the Falkirk wheel and The Kelpies so plenty to see and do within a 10 mile radius. The apartment is a great base for exploring the local area and visiting friends and family. It is nice and quiet area day and night which is what we wanted, the facilities are very good and we would stay again, we thought It was very good value for money.

Location and facilities Liked the option of having a further 2 settee beds in living room so not having to share a room with family members Heating was simple to use and very effective in the winter months! Local shop located a short walk away for essential items

Perfect location for us. Short walk to visit relatives. Handy little shop on corner. Apartment on ground floor which suited my wife who struggles with stairs. Decent size apartment for two adults.
