Overall everything is Awesome. The Food was too good. We love it. The room & bathroom is also clean and neat. Chechii, chettaa and their family welcomed us and nice as homiezz. They are very super to us and treated us more well. Most Recommended place to stay❤️.

Beach was really clean and serene. Absolutely awesome place to stay and relax with your family. Home stay was like at home with lovely and delicious food made by the hosts at home, very generous and cordial hosts. They check every meal what is required and prepare fresh specially seafood. Thanks to Albert and his family for making our stay a memorable one. He arranged everything I asked including autos on-time. I thank his wife for the delicious food we enjoyed all 3 days.. she is an awesome cook.

Right at the clean beach. Host was very cooperative. Rooms were comfortable. Host was sweet enough to heat the food we ordered from outside.

Location was right on the beach. The hosts were too good. They served home cooked delicious food. They’re cordial hosts who checked what we would want to eat and prepared the same and every dish was absolutely delectable. What we liked most about this property was the location, host and the food.

We visited this cute and cozy homestay in Alappuzha, just 10 metres from the beach, with beautiful sea-view rooms—but trust me, the view wasn’t even the best part. The heart of this place is its hosts: Shiju Chettan and Sunita Chechi. We’ve stayed in so many homestays across Kerala, but we have never met a couple like them. Their warmth, care, and simplicity make the entire stay feel less like a vacation and more like spending time with family. It’s a family-run home, and you can feel that love and effort in every single corner. We originally planned to stay for two days—but we ended up staying one more day, simply because we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave. That’s how homely and comforting this place felt. And the food—oh my God. I’ve never tasted seafood this good in my entire life. Even being from Trivandrum, where seafood is a part of life, Sunita Chechi’s dishes were on a whole different level. She didn’t just cook for us; she asked what we liked, what we felt like eating, and even suggested dishes that turned out to be absolute heaven on a plate. What touched us the most was the way they go above and beyond for their guests. They even helped my husband plan a midnight birthday surprise—and their whole family joined in. It genuinely felt like celebrating with our own people. If you’re looking for a place that’s more than just a stay—somewhere that feels like your home away from home, with hosts who treat you like family—this homestay is the one. Cozy rooms, amazing food, and the warmest hospitality we’ve ever experienced. This isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to belong.

the food was amazing! We tried a different dish every night and we were not disappointed.. the food was prepared fresh and was delicious. Our hosts were very attentive to our requirements and great fun to talk too. We stayed for 4 nights but could have easily stayed longer. We had direct access to the beach, which was pretty secluded, clean and beautiful. Our host organised transport to and from the airport and our massages along with a backwater boat trip. I would highly recommend staying here.

Marari Xavier’s Inn is a wonderful homestay just steps from Marari Beach. My room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with all the essentials—including a fridge, which was really convenient for keeping drinks and fruit cool in the Kerala heat. The location is peaceful, perfect for sunrise walks or relaxing by the sea. Albert and Sunitha are amazing hosts who make you feel like part of their family. The home-cooked meals were delicious, especially the local Kerala dishes. If you want a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped stay with warm hospitality and great food, this is the place I’d highly recommend.
