Food was exceptional

I traveled alone, I have the house boat only for myself. To highlight the sympathy and availability of the entire crew. The food on board was always excellent, even something excessive in quantity for only one person. In the two days on board the itenerary was very interesting and diverse of landscapes.

The food and and the staff were amazing.All the amenities provided was nice and the ship was also spacious.

Overall, our experience on the Aqua Castle Houseboat was generally good, with some notable highlights and a few areas for improvement. What We Liked + Excellent Climate: We were fortunate to have wonderful weather during our visit in July, despite it being the southwest monsoon season, which greatly enhanced the trip. + Warm Welcome & Hydration: We received a welcome drink upon arrival and appreciated the unlimited bottled water provided throughout the trip. + Delicious & Customized Food: The food was a major highlight! The lunch was incredibly yummy, and we especially appreciated that the crew asked about our dietary preferences (type of rice, disliked items) in advance, tailoring the meal accordingly. Snacks and tea/coffee served later were also good. + Good Communication: The team was proactive in their communication, following up and guiding us until we reached the houseboat. + Flexible Advance Payment: Booking.com indicated a 50% advance payment, but they only collected about 30% upfront, which was a welcome flexibility. + Entertainment Option: The availability of an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity allowed us to play our own music, which was a nice touch. + Smooth Boarding: We were asked to arrive by 10:45 AM for the 11:00 AM start and got there at 10:35 AM, ensuring a prompt departure.

Spacious boat and were lucky to have it to ourselves. Courteous and discreet staff on board. Great food and a very relaxing cruise had.

The staff on the trip were very attentive but not over bearing, we had the boat to ourselves, we asked if we could jump off for a walk at some point and the obliged. They offered us an option to buy fish which we took and bought some king prawns. These were the best we’d ever eaten, the chef was amazing the whole trip and the food was fantastic, enough to serve 4 not 2. The boat is slightly tired but the staff and food more than make up for this.

We had a 2 Room Traditional Houseboat after booking a family suite. It, was clean, spacious and had everything you needed even if a little dated. It was great to have AC at night and the open area was covered in mosquito netting after dusk. The included meals were fine but luckily we also had the opportunity to purchase extra seafood at a local fisherman’s hut. The chef was great always smiling and ready to help.

2 cabin boat, 2 of us for 2 nights. 3 crew. All great, food, service, cleanliness expetiences, cabin, main area. Biggish boat, so most time spent on lake or wide river sections. Fans maintain coolness, and when moored up, aircon great overnight

The scenery was lovely, crew was friendly and responsive as they came to pick us up from a different location than originally planned and dropped us off in a different place and got us a taxi when we left early.

Exactly what we were hoping to get. Private boat for ourselves, 3 in staff, time to unwind and relax.

Boat is good, but food was not that much good

Houseboat staff were lovely and food was delicious. Our houseboat had an open area so there were many mozzies during dinner. Rooms were quite old and run down. We had lizards crawling around the room. The ship docked near a rice field at night so there were plenty of mozzies. Anti Malaria and Mozzie repellent is very strongly recommended.
