“10/10 loved my stay”

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, had an amazing view, making our stay very relaxing and enjoyable. The owner and staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and went above and beyond to help us. We had missed the bus and there was no transport available, but they kindly brought us to Fenqihu, which we truly appreciated. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with exceptional service!

The decor and room furnishings were great, very well designed. Amenities provided were of high quality and very clean. Our room had a great view of the mountains, overlooking tea farms. Breakfast served was healthy and homemade. Really enjoyed the tea table setup, great way to relax after a day of hiking. Would highly recommend!

“Nice location!”

Location was great and the people working at the B&B were very kind and helpful always. There is also a really nice tea farm close and it’s easy to go to different hikes from the B&B. Also the hotel offers you a driver to drive you to the start of the hike. It is easy to go by bus to the Rain Forest Park.

Best place we’ve stayed in Taiwan. It’s such a beautiful location, it’s not near alishan park but that actually worked out better for us! If I came back to Taiwan, I’d come back to stay here. The area is surrounded by tea farms — tea leaves ALL OVER. So beautiful. They have a viewing area at the top so you can look out to see the sunrise. They make their own tea and we got to see how it was done (SO COOL), breakfast is prepared and it’s quite a nice filling meal, free washing machine (and driers!!!), some of the best nights sleep I got throughout my holiday, and THE SHOWER STUFF!!! I’m so picky with my hair care always bring my own shampoo and conditioners but they had NICE stuff. They also had a bathtub (we got the cheapest room!!!) + heated toilet seats 😏 And the absolute gem was the staff: we got to check in EARLY, and when we left one of the girls helped us with our bus, we just asked for directions (one of the bus stops is right outside) and when our bus was about to come she actually came out and helped us wave it down (she’d been tracking it for us!!! What an absolute angel!) Such such a positive experience at this place, I cannot recommend it enough!!!

Host was warm and friendly. Thanks to her contact, she managed to get us a private hire car to Chiayi HSR station on a rainy day when our Uber booking could not find a driver. The B&B also provided Loccitane amenities in the bathroom which was a very pleasant surprise.

“Very nice host and a unique experience stay on a tea plantation”

Location is mid way to Alishan, near a lot of tea plantations. The place itself was very unique, the room was made of wood entirely. Very spacious. Breakfast was nice. The host also offered us some tea tasting when we said we would like to buy some Alishan red tea.

“Modern wooden rooms”

This place is beyond what I usually choose, and it was indeed quite special. Very modern and luxurious, at least to me. The room was huge. The interior is mostly wooden, creating a relaxing atmosphere. I found it quiet even though it's right next to the main street. It's probably tricky for those without a car, as it's a bit out of town. Enough parking spaces, though. I liked the breakfast a lot.

“Beautiful views and delicious tea”

This remarkable hotel is tucked away out of sight and sits within a tea plantation. The rooms are of exceptional quality and beautifully designed. Everything is in Cedarwood and state of the art. Thoughtful touches like loss attain soup and the latest Japanese toilets make this a very nice room indeed. Beautiful views and delicious tea.

Absolutely lovely B&B with great views, just as pictured. The use of wood was really nice and made the whole room seem really warm. It was also huge with a separate room for the bathtub which the kids really loved. The room also provided their own tea making set as well as complimentary tea from their own tea gardens which is very decent quality tea. Really enjoyed our stay. The cooked breakfast was also a nice touch.

The bath tub was very big and spacious, but my other friends room did not have it so i guess it is fine. The owners are very friendly and accommodating which is great. Location wise its alright. Love the rooftop sunrise/set vjewing it was very convenient

“Excellent”

Lovely property, we had an amazing view from our balcony. Great little restaurant a couple of doors up. It got quite busy so we went early. Easy to get a bus up to Alishan town. Great place to stay clean and very friendly helpful hosts.

Clean and friend staff

I loved the interior. It was the most beautiful hotel i have ever seen. The wood compensated for the lack of windows in the room. I was amazed at the coffee facilities in the common room. But most of all, the staff was incredibly hospitable. We came outside at 5.30 am to wait for sunrise. And we were offered tea. Then we were advised that there is a rooftop. And the view was indeed amazing from there.... The language barrier was resolved with google translator. Location was very convenient. It was close to the hiking trails. We also visited Alishan which is well connected with buses (although they are rare so it requires some planning, waiting and patience).

“Please stay, but with surprises.”

The building was nice with lots of wood and well built. We did have a surprise as we had assumed from the photos our room was going to have a free-standing bath, but that was not the room we had booked. Partly our fault (of course) but I felt the photos had been a little mis-leading. The owner told me (through an interpreter) she had tried to adjust the photo layout, but was unable to do so. Our room, whilst nice, clean and comfortable, did not have a window, which as I said was a shock. We looked at the upgrade option, however planned to be out of the room all day and so there was no benefit. Vegetarian breakfast was served in a common area, where there was drinking water, coffee & tea etc. The public bus stops right outside the property.
