“Great little room and great communication”
Easy self check-in process - 1am as our flight was late. Good communication prior to trip. Very clean. Kettle in the room which is always very helpful. Not too far for us to walk from city centre either. We would definitely stay again if we had a late flight. Also nice to have a little balcony.

There was a clothes iron in the closet. The late check in option is pretty good, with clear instructions. Wifi is good when it works. The bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately, our stay at Casa Durand Alicante was disappointing. When we arrived, the room had an extremely strong smell of chlorine, and it was almost impossible to ventilate the space properly. Because of the noise and the location of the room, it was very difficult to sleep comfortably. In addition, the toilet was leaking constantly, and the sound of dripping water throughout the night made it hard to rest. The quality of the materials, plumbing, and overall comfort level was below expectations and definitely needs improvement.

The apartment we stayed in was on the third floor (no elevator), small, clean with a nice terrace. I came late at night, and the host was available and gave me easy instructions how to get my keys from the box. The host was very helpful and reachable. The building is up hill, so if you are older or with kids it can be tricky.

The room was clean and everything was just as promised. We liked that the room was a bit outside the busiest city center, but not far. Small water bottles waiting for us when we arrived late at night were amazing. I highly recommend the place!
