“Perfect location, for perfect vacation with a very kind host”

Our stay here was absolutely perfect — a true 10/10 experience! The host was exceptional, guiding us every step of the way and offering amazing recommendations that truly elevated our time in Alghero. We felt taken care of from the very beginning. Everything exceeded our expectations: the cleanliness was impeccable, the location was ideal, the breakfast was delicious, and the price was more than fair for what we received. Everything. Nico is an exceptional host. We loved our stay. The location is great, everything can be easily reached, the Italian breakfast is also perfect. We loved that everything is very well explained related to the room, breakfast and about Alghero.

Very friendly host. Fast check-in. Internet speed 40Mb/s. Good location, about 1.5km to a good beach, 1km to the center and 800m from large supermarkets. There is a coffee machine and a refrigerator. The rooms are cleaned every day.

We were staying at La Madronia B&B between June 28 and July 5, 2025, and we had a fantastic experience! The breakfast was tasty, the place was spotless, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us excellent recommendations about beaches, transport, and local restaurants. He also offers a website with everything you can do and visit in the area, which was super useful. We got a free sun umbrella and beach mats to use, and the air conditioning felt like an ice breeze – perfect after a day in the sun. The location is great, very close to the beach and public transport. We definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Nico’s place in Alghero. The apartment was very clean, extremely comfortable, and ideally located — just a short walk to the beach and not far from the city center, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Nico is a truly welcoming host who pays great attention to detail. We especially appreciated the meaningful conversation we had over breakfast, where he shared insights about Sardinian culture and history — it added a special, personal touch to our stay and made us feel even more connected to the place. The breakfast was generous and beautifully presented, with a variety of sweet options that were delicious. If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to include some savory choices as well, especially for those who prefer a more balanced meal in the morning. That said, even the sweet breakfast was delightful, and everything else about our experience was perfect. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Alghero. The property is located in a safe area, with everything necessary around and 10 minutes walk from the historic center of the town. As for Nico, the owner, all the nice things said about him in the other reviews are true. I would add that he contributed enormously to the succes of our trip. This gentleman shares his vast knowledge of history and culture with his guests and we will cherish the moments spent in his company.

Excellent place where to stay. Very quiet place. 1 minute walking to the beach. Owner has outstanding english knowledge. He is willing to help if he can. He offers umbrella ( also in case of rain) or beach mat.

Everything was perfect. The location is very good,it is near the sea, near the old town, near the bus stop. Room was clear. The Host was very nice, he helped us with everything we needed.

Nicola is a perfect host. The house is placed in a very good location, two minutes from the lido beach. Rooms were comfortable and with all the necessary items. Breakfast was amazing.

“Lovely stay in beautiful Sardinia”

At first - Nico, thank you very much for being such an excelant host. The best ever! We had an amazing time in his B&B, it was like visiting a friend. Every morning started with his tasty Italian breakfast. He gave us many good recommendation (places to visit, public transport etc.) and provided us with all the information we needed (how to get from the airport etc.). We felt very welcomed and safe. The place has the best location in Alghero - 1 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes to the old town. There is a bus stop nearby, restaurants and shops around. Our room was nice and clean, cleaned every day. We know we have to come back.

We had a nice stay in Mandronia apartment. The owner is very friendly guy, talk very good English. Room was clean and nice. Air-conditioning, smart tv. Can borrow beach umbrella or ball for free. Bikes for free!
