The place to feel like home! Giovanna is a great host. You have coffee, tea, cereals, biscuits, milk and yogurt at your disposal all day long. Good breakfast prepared and served by Giovanna. The property is just a short walk from Maria Pia beach and not that far from the main beach of the town. And let's not forget - couple of minutes from the Wednesday Mercatino where you can buy fresh cheese and prosciutto. Truly recommend Giovanna's hospitality. And she proposed to stay longer that the regular check-out at 10 as there are no other guests in our room after us. 😊😊😊 Don't hesitate to book it for summer'26!

“Lovely B&B with great host and breakfast”

The B&B is lovely, with newly renovated bathrooms, comfortable beds, and A/C that made the room very cozy. Both main beaches are within walking distance—we especially liked Maria Pia, which is usually far from most accommodations, but not from this one! :) The breakfast was excellent, with both sweet and savory options, delicious coffee, and plenty to keep us full until the evening. Most importantly, our host was incredibly kind and accommodating, giving us tips for places to eat out and visit, flexible to accommodate our flight schedule and making our entire stay easy, pleasant, and truly memorable.

The room was very nice and clean. A really good breakfast was served every morning with a verity of pastries, ham and cheese and eggs with bacon.

Maria is a very kind host! She treated us to a delicious breakfast, cookies, tiramisu, and croissants coffee and her kindness. We were absolutely satisfied with our stay there! We will stay here for the next time as well, I recommend to everyone!

Maria charmed us with her kindness. It's like your dearest aunt baking and cooking divine breakfasts with incredible talent. Even in Parisian bakeries, I have never eaten croissants as delicious as the ones she makes here. She provided us with lots of advice and tips on what and where to eat (where the locals also eat), where to go to the beach. They really care about their guests, like their family. Thank you very much for this care, we feel great.

“A piece of heaven”

This place is a true gem. We stayed for a week and it was everything one would hope and wish for… our host Maria was and always will be the definition of kindness, forthcomingness, sweetness and respectfulness. This place has everything you need to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The rooms are very clean and have all the amenities one needs, like air conditioning, wifi etc. The place itself is only a 10min walk to the nearest beach, resp. an approx. 20min walk to the infamous Maria Pia Beach. The nearest grocery store(s) are also only few minutes away, as well as a bus stop either in airport direction or toward the center of Alghero. Hostess Maria provided us with excellent suggestions for local restaurants and other hidden gems, that are only known to people who know the ins and outs of Alghero. She also provided us breakfast each morning, serving fresh produce from local markets. I still have the delicious taste of her self-backed lemon cake in my mouth… incredible display of hospitality and care for the comfort of staying guests. Thank you Maria for your kindness and opening your doors to us, allowing us to leave Alghero with incredible memories. I can only implore you to stay at Bed and Breakfast Giu&Gio … it will be worth it.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The host, Maria, was so kind and helpful. The whole property was spotlessly clean. Air conditioning was a joy. Breakfast was perfect, including Maria’s home baking!

The host (Maria and the whole team) is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast!! The B&B is in a quiet location only 7 minutes walk from the beach. Along the promenade the old city centre of Alghero is easily reached by foot.

Excellent breakfast, free snacks and water for the day.

“Amazing hospitality!”

I highly recommend this B & B to anyone!! So many reasons for this, but number one was the hospitality and the perfect hosting of Maria and family. Maria made me feel at ease and looked after as soon as I arrived alone at the bed and breakfast late at night. Although we had limited ability to communicate with each other because of the language barrier- Maria put 100% effort always into making sure we could understand each other and we had long conversations like friends! The double bedroom is perfect, air conditioning great, always so clean, lovely garden if you remember insect repellent, and not to mention the delicious breakfasts! Maria served us some amazing treats including homemade Tiramasu and lemon cake- and amazing cappuccino. I originally was worried that it was a little far out from the centre but this wasnt a problem at all- you can walk, bike or bus very easily and actually it's much nicer being very slightly out of the noisy, touristy centre . The recommended restaurants list was also very helpful and beach umbrellas etc. Thank you so much Maria and family- I loved my stay and you made my stay as a female solo traveller just perfect! I miss Giu and Gio and especially you, Maria- and I would love to stay again some time!
