I really appreciated that the apartments were soundproofed and that the windows had black out blinds (as we have a young baby). The place was spotless and the pool was lightly heated (again very helpful for a baby). The staff (cleaners, reception staff, breakfast waiter) were very warm and accommodating.

Eco Résidence Dolce Paese, Algajola – Beautiful Location, But Not Quite 5-Star Standards** We recently stayed at Eco Résidence Dolce Paese in Algajola and were truly impressed by the **stunning location**. The residence is set right on the beach in this **charming little fishing village**, making it a perfect base for exploring the Balagne region. The **views from the apartments are spectacular**, and the setup is very family-friendly—especially convenient if you're traveling with a toddler. The aparthotel format worked really well for us, providing both comfort and flexibility. There's a lot of potential here: the property is modern, quiet, and offers many **extra services**, which seem to justify its 5-star rating on paper. However, a few things fell short of expectations—especially for a property rated as luxury. The **cleaning service was inconsistent** (one day, no one showed up), and **room maintenance needs improvement**. For example, the air ventilation system in the toilet was broken and, despite notifying the staff, it was never repaired during our stay. Additionally, the **beach towels are provided only once for the entire stay**, which doesn’t quite match the standards of a high-end hotel. The **poolside bar was completely deserted**, which was a bit disappointing given the otherwise excellent setting. The **staff experience was mixed**—one receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly, while the other came across as unhelpful and spoke very limited English (or chose not to engage).

Very nice location, great outside swimming pool and sea is just behind the street. Extra bonus is sunset into the see which is greatly visible from town. Friendly stuff even if you are non-french speaker ;)

The hotel is located across the road from a beautiful clear water sandy beach with restaurants and bars. It has a heated outdoor pool with designated areas for babies and the amount of quality sun chairs and bungalows were much appreciated! i loved the scent of their shower gel which is very rare, i always bring my own! i also loved the underground parking with direct lift access to the apartment floors. i also loved how close it was from a big supermarket! Basically when you get here you dont need a car, you have everything at a stone's throw away :)

“Nice enough hotel but not really 5 star”

Nice enough 2 bed apartment but not sure this hotel warrants 5 stars. Very friendly reception staff (Susan in particular). Lovely cold air con needed after a day on the beach. Large pool so I enjoyed doing my exercise swimming lengths early each day. The rooftop restaurant had great views and served good food. Good parking facilities. Lovely beach for surfing but beware if you are not a strong swimmer. Algajola has some great restaurants with lovely views.

“Fantastic!”

Fantastic small apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, great shower, very comfortable bed with black-out blinds, and of course, an incredible sea-view with balcony with drying rack for the swimsuit and table& chairs. The swimming pool was heated (outdoor) and big enough to swim length, it had comfortable sun loungers and access was very easy by the lift. It had an indoor hot pool (just big enough to paddle around) with spa vibes, access was available at anytime throughout the day and always empty when we went. The beach was literally a stone-throw away, you just crossed the garden, crossed the street and there it was! Just amazing. There is a good kayak/paddleboard renting shop on the beach - we hired a double kayak for half a day for 40 euros, and the staff was very friendly and informative. Although Algajola was small (and no cash machine; bring cash as a lot of the shops wanted cash payment only!!) it had plenty of really wonderful beach restaurants, allowing dining facing the sea, and fantastic seafood. It was picturesque. The little train that passes by the hotel is infrequent, so the whole area was very quiet, and takes you to Calvi and Iles Rousse. The coastal trip stops at various beaches on the way and the views are incredible. There is a supermarket 10 minute walk north of the hotel. Overall it was a brilliant holiday and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

“Opulent quality in the heart of Algajola,”

Great aparthotel situated in a lovely seaside town of Algajola. Opulently built, 5* hotel, with all the facilities one would expect from 5* accommodation and price. The room was beautifully designed and appointed, with kitchen, breakfast bar, lounge area, balcony, bedroom and bathroom. The only surprise was the bunk-beds, hidden behind a sliding door ... A little inconvenient for our 19 year old daughter (more equipped for kids than adults. The pool, spa, and gym were all of excellent quality. The roof-top restaurant is a wonderful place to see the sweep of the bay of Algajola and the beach, though it would benefit from some kind of shading. There is no shade at all. The menu is fairly limited, but all dishes cooked to order and are of exceptional quality and presentation, and are reasonably priced for the quality of the food. They are more in the style of the local tapas dishes, instead of full meals.
