Set amid the Frankenalb low mountain range, this family-run guest house offers cosy rooms and traditional Franconian cuisine in the village of Waller, only about 30 km east of Nuremberg. The Gasthof-Pension Brauner Hirsch welcomes you to relax in its peaceful rooms which feature a cosy Franconian décor and free wireless internet access. Visit the Brauner Hirsch's Gaststube lounge and beer garden, where hearty regional specialities featuring meat from the family’s own butcher’s shop await you. In fine weather, lean back on the sunny terrace while your children discover the playground. The Brauner Hirsch is an ideal base for exploring the nearby Happurger Stausee lake as well as scenic hiking trails and cross-country ski runs. From here, you can drive to the Frankenalbtherme thermal baths in Hersbruck in about 10 minutes, while the mediaeval city of Nuremberg is a 25-minute journey away.

Beautiful and clean room with really nice bathroom and perfect balcony. Warm and friendly hosts made it even better. I arrived 3 hours after check-in time, but still came in without any trouble. And if you need to work, you'll have good Internet access too. I succeed to upload 20 GB overnight, and it saved my day. See you again, definitely :)
