The location and staff were both great

Overall our experience was very good and this is an excellent value for money hotel in a great location to see Alexandria. The rooms are very big and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is adequate and free. The fitness room is also very well equipped.

“Great location, great room but very expensive parking and very poor breakfast”

Huge room with lounge area and kitchenette. We stayed here 3 days as part of an east coast road trip and really appreciated the extra space of this room. Large comfortable bed. Close to King Street with metro station to get into Arlington and Washington. King Street also has free trolley bus to Alexandria waterfront. We were originally put in a room close to the elevators which was too noisy. The front desk was very helpful in moving us to another room which proved to be very quiet

“Expensive but alright hotel.”

room was confortable and relatively quiet. it was clean and everything except the free internet service worked.

The rooms are spacious, the bed was comfortable. A supermarket is close by. The staff is friendly and in particular the janitor who has to fix all the negligences of the hotel management was fantastic at all times. The gym rooms have standard equipment which in my case was absolutely okay.

Convenience to my travel

Staff went out of their way to make this stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The room was very clean. Excellent breakfast. The free shuttle service of up to one mile from the hotel was enjoyed. We were able to get a ride to restaurants, shopping, and sight- seeing in downtown Alexandria. Staff members: Chrystal, Mario, Mohammed, and Mr. Molo went out of their way to provide an enjoyable stay at Residence Inn Duke Street in Alexandria. All of the staff were very professional, courteous, and caring.

Spacious suite. Kitchen facilities with microwave and dishwasher. Nice quiet location within walking distance of metro station, restaurants and shops.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. The free shuttle to nearby attractions was very helpful, easy to schedule, and the driver very courteous.

Hotel is in a location that is walkable to Old Town and to the metro. We stayed only one night and found street parking next to the hotel that was much cheaper than parking at the hotel. The breakfast was really good. The room is equipped with a kitchen, dishes and a separate sitting area from the bed.
