On the day of arrival, we were informed that the house shown in the listing was no longer available because previous guests extended their stay. We were moved to a different house, which had only one double bed instead of the two promised, and none of the rooms matched the photos in the listing. This is not an acceptable excuse - solving a problem they created themselves is not a “solution” for guests. Communication was extremely poor. During the phone call, the staff were rude, constantly interrupted, and did not allow us to explain our concerns, insisting they didn’t understand what the issue was. Upon arrival, we were given the wrong access code for the keys and had to wait for someone to come and let us in. The contact number listed on Booking did not work - we had to call back the number they previously used. Additionally, the property requires a deposit, which is only mentioned in one of the last photos in the listing (out of 41), with no amount specified. This was only communicated after the non-refundable payment was made. Getting the deposit back required multiple follow-ups and was returned only 5 days after our stay. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below expectations.

The house was close to the centre of Aldershot, was clean and warm.

The decor and vibe of the living room and bedroom spaces was very pleasant. I appreciated how close the house was to mainline shops in Aldershot and to the railway station. In addition, the staff were very lovely and allowed me an early-check in on short notice.

The property was clean & had a good amount of space for us all. Being a group having 2 toilets was great.

Bad communication not knowing where key was til last minute. Ordered a cot had to send several texts to property owner Cot arrived at 730ish after I had sent message baby needs to be in bed by 6.dirty unemtied bathroom bin.garden full of cigarette ends baby not able to walk into garden scrubland. 1 wardrobe for 3 bedrooms I bedside table in 2 single bed room.sweet papers behind hard and uncomfortable sofa inadequate seating for possibly 6 people on the house we were only 2 and baby.iron burn on dining table .1 filthy tea towel in kitchen , scratched old frying pans. Cupboard marked kitchen cleaning materials with 2 sponges in and paper cups . Leftover cereals in cupboards used shower gels in bathroom Air bnbs are supposed be home from home not just built and below standard faciilitues just for someone to make money . It was disgusting and we have never had such a bad experience in an air bnb property.to top it all I get demanded a refundable £200 deposit 2 days before which was very stressful for me.i would like a full refund for this experience or I will go to the press.i als o expect my refundable deposit after 11am today on checkout as I am in great need of this I have taken photos of all the bad things here garden full of cigarette end etc.i Hope to be hearing from you ASAP Amanda Clarke
