This lovely cottage was very comfortable. It is next to an estuary which has walks to Snape Maltings and Iken. It is close to Aldburgh and places of interest such as Sutton Hoo and Minsmere.

“Warm welcome at a fabulous property”
Beautiful, quiet location overlooking a wide bend in the Alde estuary towards Iken church. Boats and waterside walks a few steps down from the cottage. Approx 20 minute delightful walk along the river to all the shops, galleries and restaurants of Snape Maltings, plus the world famous concert hall of course. The cottage is superbly designed and equipped, we wished we could have stayed longer. Host Kate is welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous location with beautiful views, peaceful and calm. The cottage was nicely decorated and furnished, comfortable, well-maintained and clean. Good directions to get there, the host was helpful in providing information in advance of our trip. It had everything we needed for a restful stay. Good walks from the door and further afield. Loved the wildlife and ever-changing views of the river.
