“Felt like home.”
Very friendly welcome. Quiet accommodation. A large room and space to dry my clothes ( as we were walking on the Via de la Plata). We chose to have breakfast. It was on the table for us when we got up early. Wonderful place to spend one or a few nights.

Good landlady, hospitable and efficient. In response to previous reviewers we would recommend the service station on the autovia for basic food - breakfast/supper. Quiet village, plenty of free parking. Position excellent for exploring Mérida, Carcares and the Extramadura

“Best place to stay in Aldea del Cano.”
Very charming small hotel run by the owner. The house used to be her grandparent’s home. Very comfortable. Breakfast quite OK. For dinner of lunch go to the neighbors or to Vegas.

“Perfect place for a good night’s rest while on the Via de la Plata.”
Teresa, the proprietor, was wonderful! She was warm and friendly, and she even did our laundry. The bed was comfortable and the room clean.

Owners very flexible on room choice - and gave honest responses to my questions on size between my choices. Access to refrigerator Room was large Good ambience overlooking square Place to park bicycle Quiet Bed comfortable Shower with great pressure and worked fine

“Comfortable one night stay after a hard cycle.”
The Casa Rural is beautifully situated on the main square. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Although no airco, room was cool. Safe space for my bicycle. Good communication with the host and good instructions accessing my room. Good restaurant close by. Stayed for one night.

This was my second visit to this casa rural so i already knew what to expect. Helpful owner, a lovely room in a beautiful house. Very clean and comfortable and close to nearby bar/restaurant.

Not far from Caceres out of the city but in a lovely quiet spot on the main village square. Owner was available to remedy a small problem quickly and efficiently. Secure bike storage in a locked courtyard garden was excellent. Honesty box for drinks was very welcome...and rare for the time of year. Excellent food served at the local Meson restaurant a few doors away.
