The receptionist was very helpful sorting out my room situation. Breakfast was ample and good.

A modernised convent with beautiful decor, this is a great hotel. Free parking out front. The staff are all lovely. Marble floors, an open central space with orange trees, a historic preserved flour mill apparatus and walkable proximity to the town. Decent restaurant. Highly recommended

“Calm in the Convent”

We stayed here for one night. The property is beautiful, as it was a convent, now converted into a hotel, with a dinner restaurant, breakfast restaurant and there is a spa and a pool. Its a large property and there weren't many guests. There is free parking onsite and the property is away from the town, so no cafe or restaurant close by. The room was in the newer part of the building, so it was light filled and modern. You can choose to be in the new or older area. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. There is a fridge, aircon, wifi, tv. Lovely big bathroom. We had dinner in the hotel and I would highly recommend it. I had the Hunting menu and it was beautiful. We didn't have breakfast. The staff were all lovely, friendly and helpful. My husband swam in the pool, which he said needed a bit of a clean and the lawns around needed mowing. The rooms were spotless, but there are public areas that do need to be cleaned - the lift is one. I wondered if they are understaffed because its not peak times. I would stay again though as everything else ticked all the boxes.

The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The restaurant was good and the food was delicious. We didn't have breakfast so we cannot comment. The pool was a lovely place to cool down

Simply perfect ! I prolongued my stay unexpectedly but I'm glad I did. Lovely room, gorgeous hotel, amazing area and a pitoresque town with tons of history. This was the unexpected highlight of my vacation. And did I mention the great restaurant ?

we have been here the 2nd time and enjoyed our stay. we had a junior suit, the room is spacious and beds are comfortable. There is a pillow service, so you can choose the best suitable pillow, top! Generally we like the relaxed atmosphere in compare to other hotels.

It’s a very interesting building with lots of history. Birds roost in the courtyard tree which is magical as they sing loudly.
