“INCREDIBLE, BEAUTIFUL, EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE”
The establishment was incredible. Nice old house close to the castle, close to the centre of town. Amazing thick stone walls, most rooms had a fireplace some where burning upon arrival. Overall incredible experience!

Very disappointing – absolutely not worth €80 ★☆☆☆☆ Upon arrival, we received a free room upgrade, but even that didn’t make the stay any better. The room was somewhat as shown in the photos, but the outdoor area was in a terrible state. The pool was dirty, with algae on the bottom and dead insects floating in the water. The garden was messy and neglected, the parasols were broken and filthy, and the terrace furniture was extremely dirty. The outdoor bar looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The photos on Booking.com are highly misleading. For €80 a night, we expected much more. What did we like most? Honestly… nothing. Definitely not recommended.

“Great place even better host”
Great place even better host , google maps sent us the wrong way to the hotel , so left what he was doing and he came and picked us up and showed us were to park and welcomed us with a free drink afterwards and very understanding and flexible letting us check out a couple of hours later letting our young 3 year child use the pool in the meantime with no problems. Things like that mean the world as parents and made the trip. We will be back.

“Idyllic”
We loved our stay at Jardines de Colón. It’s absolutely beautiful. We picked the room with a terrace, which has views across town and to the mountain beyond. The location is nice and central - up a steep hill but that’s all part of the charm of Alcala - and is really peaceful. Our flight was delayed, meaning we didn’t arrive in Alcala until hours after check-in officially closed, but the staff very kindly made sure they were there to let us in, which was so helpful and saved us a lot of additional stress. We really loved our stay and would definitely stay again on our next visit.

“Fantastic stay in a lovely town.”
Stayed here for a wedding in Alcala. The host was very accommodating, gave us a choice of rooms, use of ironing facilities and the pool was lovely to be able to relax in.

“Excellent for a relaxing stay with good food and attractive accommodation.”
Manolo made us feel most welcome. We arrived very early and left late, but he made us feel that was no problem. He cooked an excellent dinner for us. We stayed in the Studio Real, which was very comfortable and furnished with a good eye for style.

“Beautiful and relaxing stay.”
The place is like a medieval palace, beautiful with a beautiful garden with views to the Castle. Fully of details, decoration, stons, flowers, very special, nice, and unique place.
