Beautiful and historical hotel set in a rural location with amazing mountain backdrop and lovely helpful people. A super relaxing stay.

The location is so peaceful and well kept. The pool is tranquil with a wonderful outlook. All the staff and hosts are very attentive and friendly. The evening meal was also excellent.

On arrival Sandra was amazing, she was so welcoming and accommodating, she's such an asset to the hotel. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature and the sound of birds....

What a privilege to be able to stay in a place like this - it’s as if the outside world has ceased to exist. The historic fabric of the building has been lovingly restored, the food was very good indeed and the staff all looked after us with a friendly yet discrete efficiency.

“A rural oasis of calm with understated luxury”

This was an amazing find. A bit out of the way, but that just added to the charm. Surrounded by farmland and olive trees, it offered a beautiful rural retreat that was the height of relaxation. We had a large room and fabulous shower and the interiors were designed in keeping with the period of the hotel (no TVs here). There is one gourmet menu for the evening meal, and guests are consulted on their likes and dislikes before they arrive, or at breakfast if they are staying another night. The food was lovely and the wine list is extensive; a buffet breakfast was included. The owners are very friendly and speak an impressive number of languages, they joined the guests for dinner and were around and about much of the time if you needed them. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful. The drinks and wine were all very reasonably priced. If you want a few days of chilled, understated luxury, this is the place.

This is a beautiful small hotel where the staff make you feel like guests rather than customers. The room was very comfortable with amazing views to 3 sides. The food was beyond all of our expectations. This is a hidden gem and we felt very lucky to stay. The owners have clearly given a lot of thought to detail and were incredibly welcoming.

Be early at breakfast, no refill. The day we left at 08.00 we received a breakfast for on the way :-)
