The property is very clean and the building itself is beautiful. Claudio, the co-owner, is very kind and hardworking – he prepares fresh breakfast every day and creates a pleasant atmosphere.

An accommodation immersed in history and full of charme, with comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. A wonderful and kind host. My family and I had a wonderful stay and will return.

Breakfast was perfect in every way - fresh, flavorsome, extensive range to cover everyone's taste. Peaceful location with a beautiful view. A good home base to visit surrounding beautiful places like Lake Como and Milano. Very kind and attentive hosts, who made us feel so welcome.

Perfect breakfast, everything was freshly baked, you could even choose what do you want to eat/drink. Lovely owners, took such a good care of us. The only thing I regret is not booking our stay for a longer period of time!

“Lovely, quiet, clean B&B”

We stayed here for one night. Very nice experience. This B&B is up to hill, so going by car is recommended and it has its own private car park. The hotel is in a quiet location and is very clean. Owners are lovely and very helpful. We stayed in the Mallow triple room. It was exactly like in the picture. Very nice large clean bathroom. You will find shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, hairdryer and soap. There is a kettle and loads of different teas. Breakfast was fine, you will receive a form where you can choose how you like your eggs and return the form to the owner. The area around the hotel was nice. You can see a bit of Lake Como from there. Overall, it was a nice stay, but we will choose something different next time where we can get at least coffee or a snack from the bar or restaurant.

We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess in a fantastic location. The B&B itself is a beautiful, authentic building, a former castle. Breakfast was lovingly prepared by the hosts! Delicious rolls, tasty cakes, fresh fruit, etc.

Everything, The house was beautiful and tastefully decorated. A great view over the Italian countryside. Our host Christina was so welcoming and was a brilliant host 👏 Great secure parking for motorbikes 🏍 After a long day on the road we were able to order from a local restaurant and enjoyed eating and drinking on the terrace until the sun went down. Highly recommended 👌

“Perfect.”

This is a most heavenly place to stay! It is in a beautiful setting high above a wooded dell, but easily accessible by road. The view is fantastic. We had a sumptuous breakfast, sitting out on the terrace amongst flowers and potted lemon and orange trees. Claudio and Cristina are exceptional hosts, attentive and caring, and extremely helpful on visiting places in the locality. We’re just trying to find a way to return as soon as possible!

Absolutely wonderful stay at B\&B Il Castellaccio in Albavilla! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, the room and the property are spotless and beautifully decorated, and the view from the terrace was great. Breakfast was homemade and delicious, with attention to every detail. A peaceful, charming retreat—would give it more than 10/10 if I could!
