Vrezh was very kind, making us feel welcome and assisting us with travel arrangements to Georgia at the completion of our stay. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast and loved the opportunity to pop across the road to the Sanahin Monastery first thing in the morning before anyone else had arrived. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Sanahin Old&New during our trip to Armenia and were very pleased. The location is excellent — just a short walk from the Sanahin Monastery. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helped us with transportation, gave useful tips about the area, and were always available. What we especially loved is the unique blend of the old Sanahin spirit with modern comfort. A place with true character! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and atmospheric stay in a picturesque setting.

“Hospitable family and a great location”

I arrived late so the family offered me to make an very tasty dinner for me. The owner also offered me to do a little hike in the morning to get a good view of Sanahin and a visit to the monastery which we had for ourselves. I really felt at home at the house and the family was very welcoming.

What made this stay so great was the amazing host, we booked late notice but he was outside prepared for our arrival. We were given lots of tea and then a passionate tour of the tour, with a sunset viewpoint and an evening view of Sanahin monastery. Ok our return despite it being late we were served a lovely dinner with homemade wine. There might be fancier hotels in the area but you won't get a better experience, or such a historic property.

Well cleaned and the owner is very pleased and kindly. We recommend you to have the dinner there as the food is excellent!

Located super close to the monastery. The host can provide the dinner (for additional cost). He also arranged for the bus to Yerevan. Everything went well!!

the staff is very friendly, and the guy speaks a very fluent english. The room was huge, and the breakfast was also good! it is locaded directly in front of the monastry.

A very warm welcome from the hostess

Perfect location in a historical house just next to the Sanahin Monastery. The hosts are a very friendly family and they make sure their guests feel comfortable and happy. They helped me to arrange taxis to all the monasteries located in the vicinity. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.

“Great place to stay to explore the area!”

The property was in a great location right in front of Sanahin monastery. The host was so welcoming and kind and took us for walk to show us a beautiful place to see the sunset. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and all three meals were excellent, food from his garden! He also helped organize a tour of the monasteries nearby!

As a native English speaker,the host spoke excellent English and was very helpful and informative for my needs... Great breakfast to start the day
