Quiet location, great food and brilliant support from Iris, who arranged everything seamlessly

Irina was very kind, great meals and endeavoured to organise everything from taxis to mashrutkas. Also gave guidance on what to do and see in the area, very glad I went to see Akhtala Monastery.

Stayed here with my dad during our Armenia road trip. Very welcoming host. Delicious dinner and breakfast. We could listen to the sound of the river from our room, which we really enjoyed.

Mrs Iris is a very nice hostess , the hotel is very convenient located and has a good view to the canyon ! Nice traditional designed rooms

The location was very good. 5 Min by car to Alaverdi. Calm,with the sound of the river and birds. Miss Irina and her colleague were very nice, kind and welcoming

Was really impressed with this place and enjoyed my stay immensely. Breakfast and dinner are provided for an additional charge. There's lovely seating outside to soak up the tranquil atmosphere. Really good value for money. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

Iris was very gentle and helpful. She helped us to organize our trip and transportation to arrive and leave Alaverdi..100% recommanded

We liked and appreciated the very warm and personal treatment of the host, very attentive. And also the wonderful Armenian food she cooked for us (we had one lunch and 2 dinners at Iris). This was the best food we had in Armenia during our whole stay! We also liked the two cats living on the site, and the beautiful and very quiet mountain location of the B&B.

Host was accommodating since we showed up later at night and also was nice to offer us a better room than we booked. Parking was available on the property after navigating a slightly narrow road to the property. The property is right off the highway, so can be a convenient stop if passing through. We did not pay extra for breakfast, so I cannot comment on food quality, but the selection looked decent.

A truly authentic experience – the place is cozy, peaceful, and full of local charm. Irina, the host, took care of every detail and made us feel at home. The meals were traditional, delicious, and plentiful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Armenian experience.

“Truly hospitality at its finest!”

The place is a stunning oasis - especially the all-wooden section, which feels so special! The interior is beautiful, and the fan was a real lifesaver at night. We loved spotting so many interesting animals and insects in the garden. It was also wonderful meeting other guests at dinner. The breakfasts and dinners were simply delicious - everything home-cooked, with homemade jams, and we felt so well taken care of. Irina and Marina, you have created a truly special place. Thank you for the beautiful, warm memories!
