Overview
Housed in an old country property, Varinia Serena hotel has pleasant rooms distributed around a central patio area that has been converted into a lovely garden. Varinia Serena boasts a fantastic spa treatment centre, where you can enjoy a relaxing massage. You can also stroll around the interior garden patio area, or sit and enjoy a read. In the evening you can unwind by watching some TV in the lounge area, before grabbing a snack in the onsite cafeteria. The hotel enjoys great views of the nearby mountains and Alange reservoir. It is the perfect base for exploring this lovely rural spot in Extremadura.

Such a beautiful hotel, really lovely friendly staff (many thanks to Catalina and Mari) and delicious food - we hope to be back but not the weekend in the middle of June.

“Super overnight stop in a lovely location.”
Lovely hotel with beautiful courtyard filled with flowers and trees. Plenty of outside space to sit and enjoy the birds and plants. Rooms were large and well equipped, spotlessly clean.

All members of staff were particularly kind. The patio was lovely. Other guests nice and natural. And pets allowed. Beds very comfortable, rooms quite large and silent.

“Pretty hotel close to towns spa with very helpful and friendly staff.”
Very pretty hotel with picturesque and charming setting. Spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Extremely helpful staff if you spoke Spanish. Went out of their way to help arrange food trays in order to eat in our room because dogs not allowed in dining room and it was raining so couldn’t sit outside. Great breakfast with good choice. Staff allowed us to sit in bar area with the dog which was very helpful . Less than a minutes walk to the towns spa facilities .

Nice room: quite, big and very clean. Same for the bathroom, plenty of space for toiletries. Plenty of towel hooks. Great welcome. Beautiful courtyard. Very good location.

“Good Place & Can Improve More.”
The staff were superb, everybody deserves a 10/10. The wellbeing centre staff were fantastic 10/10. There is some much history in the place and location.
