I liked everything about it. Especially the owner Renate is a lovely and very kind woman, I will definitely come back here to enjoy the quietness, the birds and the pool. Breakfast includes fresh fruits, toast, cold cuts, coffee and orange juice. Its pretty lovely.

Renata was super nice and welcoming. She brought us coffee in the morning and prepared an amazing bkast. The views were really pretty and the property was very well kept.

Renate is a real carrying person/host. Also her other ataff member is really nice! The place is beautiful. Well taken care of.

The gardens were a delight. The peace and quiet. The views across the valley to distant mountains. The 2 toucans who came to visit us each morning. Renate was an exceptionally kind and generous host. We loved our little chats with her every day. Breakfast in the garden was a great pleasure. The fresh and healthy food always set us up well for the day. The location was great for a short trip from the airport but also to get to other local attractions such as La Paz and Poás.

The staff is most friendly, nice breakfast and a beautiful garden. We will come back!

A nice hotel with a beautiful garden, swimming pool and deck. Rooms were good but it was tricky to get hot water from the shower. The owner and her friend were very friendly and helpful. They arranged an airport taxi pick up for us which was nice after a very long travel. Breakfast was continental with fruits, salads, meats and cheese, and plenty coffee. In summary: good spot with very good price/quality ratio!

Host was exceptional. Breakfast was exceptional. Pool was great. Room was good, even though the volcano deposted dust.

The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Beautiful green, quiet location not too far from San Jose. We loved watching the birds! We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean.

Renate is the perfect host. She organized our taxi, which we need at 1am from the airport to the hotel, our car pickup the next day and kindly drove us back to the airport at 6 am 3 weeks later. Lovely garden and beautiful sunsets. Also nice to relax at the pool. Quiet and pleasant temperature up in the hills, but close to the airport.

We liked very much the location, the friendliness of the owners, the organic swimming pool, the bed which was more comfortable than initially looked. The room was basic but comfortable. It could possibly be bit cleaner, we saw a cockroach leaving the room when we entered. But again, this is Costa Rica, you cannot totally avoid them.

“Extraordinary hospitality!”

We stayed at Hotel Vista Linda Montana at the beginning and end of our trip. The owner, Renate, and her staff were wonderful. They generously allowed us to check in late, and check out VERY early. Renate even had coffee ready for us at 4 am! The hotel is beautiful with lush gardens and beautful views. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Very good location. Near the airport. We were sorry we stayed only one night. Amazing views and delicious breakfast.

Very friendly, helpful owners. Perfect for a stop off before or after a flight, or a few days to explore the area.. Just 20 minutes from the airport, but set in a glorious garden with great views. And a pool. Rooms were a reasonable size and functional. A great breakfast is available for a small supplement.
