“WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.”
DO NOT BOOK - That’s a total scam. Check « dream Algarve » on Google, you will understand. We booked the appartement called Mira T1 in Luz for 2 nights and this is the worst place we have ever been in our lives (and we travel a lot). First, the description is full of lies. Fake reviews on booking.com. We had cockroaches in the bathroom, smell was absolutely terrible and not sure if the bed itself wasn’t contaminated. Once it is too late to cancel, they also ask you to go to Lagos (15 min drive - if you have a car) to queue in a VERY long line to pick-up your keys between a short window of time. If you’re coming after 7pm, you pay. If you need help, you pay. The appartement is SO terrible. We tried using the kitchen and had to stop immediately because of the smell of gas. The bed is crazy old, every move you make, the bed moves with you. The « view with interest » on the description is a parking. The « balcony » doesn’t exist. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

“A little disappointing to say the least”
The apt was clean and tidy except for dried paint from ceiling falling into the bathtub and floor which we had to keep sweeping up . The cooker was not useable as it was not connected to the gas bottle or secured .o The toaster did not work, no hairdryer and we had to pay 20euros for late check in and collect the keys from Lagos a few miles away . If we didn't arrange to be picked up from the airport by family we wouldn't have been able to travel to Lagos alone and would have incurred extra cost to our short break . It would have been nice if a welcome pack were available for a small charge too .. We were visiting family for a birthday so we were grateful that this apt was near to where they live and we got tea sugar and milk from them so we could have at least a cuppa.
