I love this place. Salam Inn is the best hotel in Oman for me and Hamza is the best host. At this hotel you truly feel welcomed and like home. The place is beautiful, it has great, traditional Omani style. The staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and stylish, and also well quipped (aircon, fridge, some cutlery and kettle). The WiFi works very well and the water is hot. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. But our favourite thing was the terrace with amazing vibe and beautiful views and the hospitality of the owner. Hamza, thank you for welcoming us so warmly. We will recommend your place to our friends and family and if we come back to Oman, we will for sure visit you again!

Beautiful area and architecture of the building.

The accommodation is located in the middle of a palm grove, in a quiet, fairytale-like location, away from busy roads. - We enjoyed a beautiful view from the roof terrace, where all day long you can enjoy real Omani coffee and dates. - Breakfast is freshly prepared with local food, cooked according to the guest's request. - The host is very kind to all guests, trying to listen to everyone's individual needs. He gives useful advice and ideas about the attractions in the area. He personally accompanied us on a short tour to the local rose water factory and museum. - The building and rooms are clean and well maintained. It has a real authentic local atmosphere. We got what we expected from the pictures and description. - The short stay was the most positive experience of our whole trip.

Hamza truly is a great host, he is kind and caring and obviously loves to welcome guests. The inn is located within the palm grove, which makes the stay quite authentic. Staying here for the whole evening and enjoying the homemade food and the peace and quiet that the place offers is a must. Thanks again! Gauthier

The host and staff were very friendly and nice. Room is spacious. Both room and bathroom were clean with just few issues. I had homemade dinner, which was very good. Breakfast was good, nothing special, but fine. Wifi worked well (in the evening at least). Area is very scenic with a rustic charm.

I had an amazing stay at Salam Inn! The location is perfect, being close to historic sites and fantastic hiking areas. The breathtaking views, coupled with the unique experience of date farming and an introduction to various date types, added an extra layer of charm to my stay. Salam Inn is more than just accommodation; it's an unforgettable, enriching experience!

Great location and authentic hotel. Perfect to explore surroundings and jebel chams Rooms are basic, but clean and nicely decorated. Nice roof terrace. Breakfast is toast, eggs and apple/fruits. The owner will make sure you have a good stay and give you advice on how to explore the area. Make sure to rent a scooter from him and explore the small pathways between the palms.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location is rural, but excellent. You have a different type of experience than normal hotels. The Inn is surrounded by small farms and a beautiful mountain and it is approximately a 10 minute walk to the Old Village.

The stay exceeded our expectations. The host was so friendly and caring, always making sure we had everything we need, making this a highlight of the trip! The whole place is kept in a traditional style, surrounded by beautiful palm trees which you can admire while sitting on the rooftop. We loved the dinner.
