Wonderful stay! The cottage was incredibly cozy, warm, and fully equipped with everything we needed. A huge plus was the washing machine, which was super convenient. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and always responded quickly. Highly recommend!

An absolute pleasure. The best place we stayed in in Iceland. It’s a luxury cabin with lots of space, hot tub, excellent shower, high end furniture and great view. We are usually quite critical but this is an absolute 10/10

“Amazing stay in a beautiful location”

Cottage is located just a 10 minute drive from the airport and Akureyri centre. Fantastic views from the cottage. Absolutely loved the hot tub. Easy to use and lovely and warm. Cottage is well equipped and felt very homely. Absolutely loved our stay here and hope to return in the future. Great spot to see the Aurora as away from the city lights. Could have stayed a lot longer than a week.

“Hot tub under the Northern Lights - Fabulous! 🤩”

We stayed in 3 different accommodations during our week exploring northern Iceland, and although all were very good, this was definitely our favourite. It was warm, very clean and super cosy, we had plenty of space and lovely comfortable beds & linens. The shower was superb and very handy having the washer and dryer. All in all it was superbly equipped and maintained, and the location was perfect, very peaceful, and just a stones throw from the Forest Lagoon (which was also wonderful ). We already know we will be returning to the area, and next time I will plan our trip around the availability of a Viking apartment, to enable us to stay longer than a couple of nights!

The location was perfect for seeing the Northern lights and the views were amazing. The cottage is in a nice quiet area that is only really accessible by taxi or if you hire a car. Nice modern appliances.

The location is great if you have a car. We got a rental and was very close and convenient parking was amazing. The bed was Extremely confortable and had new sheets.

Didn’t have an oven so was difficult to cook food for family

We loved the location for the views and quick drive to town and forest lagoon, a car is definitely need. It was very cosy and warm! Even though it was -8 outside, we were so toasty inside and the hot tub was great to enjoy the sky at night Also a great spot to see the northern lights! We were lucky to see them all 3 nights of our stay

The hot tub was working very well, you could easily adjust the temperature.

You can tell that whoever designed and built this property has a strong eye for design and aesthetics, they really put a ton of effort into everything - the fixtures, the decorative details, appliances and the furnishings. Everything was to a super high standard and it shows. I especially loved the crow! Shower water pressure was so good, almost too good! Coffee maker was pour over style, fine by me and a nice change to the capsule makers that produce so much waste. The birch walls brought me back in time to the 90's, loved it! Appreciated that there was a washing machine too! Beds were quality and comfortable. Outdoor grill was great! Wall speaker was a nice extra touch! I want to build a tiny house just like this for myself and will take home with me a ton of inspiration! So thank you! I would return to this property in the future.

There were bed bugs in the bed

It was absolutely fantastic. The cottage was clean and very comfortable. It felt like a luxury just being there. The hot tub and the view were amazing. I absolutely loved it and would definitely book it again
