“Idyllic location, beautiful cabin, perfect hosts”
An amazing cabin with excellent hosts in the perfect location! The cabin was warm, comfortable and exceptionally clean and well equipped. We found it to be the perfect 'home from home' to return to after a day's exploring. There was more than enough space for the two of us. The outdoor veranda gave amazing views of the fjord and Akureyri, and also the airport runway! We found the location to be ideal for us quiet but not remote; a quick 5 minute or so drive to the Forest Lagoon and Akureyri where we particularly enjoyed exploring the old town and local public pool. Further afield, we were able to visit Godafoss, Lake Myvatn, and Husavik quite easily using our rental car. To top it all off, our hosts, Arni and Petra were amazing- friendly and informative but by no means intrusive (and the fresh eggs provided for us were delicious and much appreciated!). Beautiful towels, shower gel, hand lotion were also provided; washing up liquid for dish cleaning, washing powder for the washing machine (an excellent bonus!); and a full size fridge freezer to pop our shopping supplies from Kronan in! All in all, a perfect stay.

“Great cabin in a perfect location”
Perfect location 5 minutes out of town with amazing views of the town. Cabin is beautiful and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Kitchen facilities were excellent and it even had a washing machine. Host Arni was super friendly, a really nice guy. Absolutely loved our stay there and the location was great for exploring the area north

The terrace has an amazing view and lots of space with a gas grill. A great fridge within the small kitchen and a washing machine. There is a small freshwater steam nearby which is refreshing after a long hike.

“A wonderful cabin overlooking Akureyri”
Great view, great, roomy (but I sure it would be cozy in cooler weather) cabin with great facilities, close to Akureyri (only five minutes drive) but far enough away that you feel like you are in the country side.

everything! I love everything inside this cabin. room is so beautiful decorated, have washing machine and very good living size. the view is fantastic and very close to city. honestly I really don’t want to leave. is one of the best cabin in the whole Iceland trip!

“Fantastic view above Akureyri”
Fantastic view above Akureyri. The chalet its just perfect to stay close from the city but without the noise. The chalet has everything to enjoy a quiet moment. It is very clean and the blankets were immaculately clean and white. Do not expect to have TV because even one does exist in the living room, you do no need it. Just enjoy the place.

“Amazing”
The cabin wasn't too hard to find. I texted a bit with the owners, they were really sweet ! The location was nice and the view was outstanding. The cabin was pretty comfortable and well equipped overall, even with a washing machine. The bed were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Plenty of books if you like to read ;)

This is by far a favorite place. We loved the view over the fjord and the amazing Northern Lights show. The rooms are cozy and sparkling clean, very nicely arranged. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. Next time we would like to stay longer. We highly recommand it!!! There is a small river/crick nearby. It has a romantic and relaxing side.

“It is a gem and true cozy cabin, a home away from home”
When we arrived I regretted booking for only one night. This is a perfect getaway for several days. Entering the house with the spacious veranda and the great view it just felt like home because it had this personal touch (little library..) Kitchen was well equipped. We made use of the washing machine, very handy after 10 days. We`ll try and visit again
