The hotel was warm and comfortable. I liked the big windows in the room. The lounge was relaxed. There was a nice range of foods for breakfast. The reception and bar staff were helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

“Great location and delicious food”
Great location for me. I like the Green is Good campaign... it is more eco friendly and noone needs clean sheets/towels daily. There is a good choice of breakfast too with quality products.

“Wonderful and cosy stay!”
This hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walking distance from the city center and right in front of the public city council pools with hot pools and two big slides that are the joy of all children! The restaurant is absolutely amazing (would recommend it even if you’re not a guest at the hotel). The main reception all is super cosy and welcoming.

“Windy Akureyri”
Modern, clean and spacious. The view of the mountains from the 5th floor was great and for watching the northern lights through the Hugh windows. Excellent bar drinks and food.

“Perfect stay.”
Perfectly Location to explore Akureyri! Just up the hill and opposite the geothermal pools (with slides which was a bonus for my daughter). The hotel staff were great on check in. They gave us access to the pools for my family (i recommend going family or no family). We took a walk around the local town which was lovely. We had bar snacks for our dinner which were delicious and my daughter enjoyed the kids menu. We got to see the northern lights just outside. Rooms were clean and plenty of space for my family of three. Breakfast was delicious also. A perfect stay! Thank you.
