“Great stay at Secrets Akumal”
The hotel and grounds are very well maintained. We loved the tropical gardens and the birds, iguanas etc. On a lovely sandy beach with a choice of pools. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Food was very good at all restaurants and the staff were very friendly and looked after you. Coffee shop in site was good an open 24/7. Turtles are worth seeing.

“Exquisite experience.”
Incredible breakfast, the options at the buffet were amazing. All the dinner options were fantastic we went to the French, Italian, Mexican and Japanese restaurant, we also went to the seafood restaurant. Astounding. I was most impressed by the staff and also the extra services. We had a paddleboarding lesson and went kayaking out on the water. Genuinely stellar. I wish I could do it all again.

“An excellent hotel!”
Beautiful lush gardens, very friendly staff. They usually asked you if you needed anything before you even thought about it. Free tennis courts with rackets provided by the hotel, ping pong tables and a gym. Plenty of activities to choose from. Food was fantastic and many restaurants to choose from. Never short of sunbeds, and we really appreciated the quiet pool! Overall a tranquil, chic and relaxed atmosphere. Something that is not easy to find around Cancun!

“Exceptional resort”
This resort is really exceptional. We loved everything - the rooms were amazing, staff so helpful and welcoming and the beach was paradise..we didn't see a turtle unfortunately but saw lots of other cool sea life. This was our first time in an all inclusive resort and we were a bit unsure how the food would be but we weren't disappointed at all...the French and Japanese restaurants were our favourites! We also did the jungle tour and really enjoyed learning about the nature of the resort and the evening entertainment was of great quality...we will be returning.

“Perfection!”
The best place I have ever stayed! The entire experience oozed luxury. From start to finish, we were amazed. The staff were incredible, there to make sure we had the best time and catered to our every need. Our room, the restaurants, all the facilities were perfect. Truly a secret paradise and there aren’t enough words to do this place justice. You must experience it for yourself.

The facilities, the staff and the food were all exceptional. They could not have been more attentive. We were particularly impressed with the food (the japanese restaurant was fantastic). The steak and fish at seaside were delicious. Also a great breakfast and lunch menu. The evening entertainment was fab and all the facilities were amazing.

“Pampered at Diamond Club”
We stayed as a couple in the Adults only Hideaway section with Diamond Club service- and we literally pampered! We keep coming back to this resort for it's safety, food and entertainment variety , Spa services , and sheer niceness/ attention to service of staff! “Great resort for relaxing, but a little far from town and sites”
In general the staff were excellent, going above and beyond with a few exceptions. Three pools to choose from, our the gorgeous sea. Room was large and well appointed and despite being sold as a Garden View, we had clear sight of the sea even if halfway back in the resort.
