Overview
This all-inclusive resort is located in Kantenah on 800 meters of private beach and surrounded by tropical gardens. This resort boasts 4 pools, 6 tennis courts, nightclub, and full-service spa. Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort is styled with Mayan Indian décor and all the facilities are linked by walkways over lagoons. Guests can dine at any of the 6 on-site restaurants and bars which offer a variety of cuisines. Snorkeling, fishing, and wind surfing are all offered at the resort. Also available is a children’s playground and care center. The Grand Palladium Kantenah Spa offers many services including massages, facials and manicures and pedicures. A steam room and hot tub are also provided. Guest rooms at the Kantenah Grand Palladium Resort all feature a private balcony or patio with views of the tropical gardens. A minibar with free bottled water and in-room movies are also included.

“Amazing facilities but not too friendly and average food”
No doubt about it, this hotel has amazing facilities. The pools are absolutely amazing, really big with a swim up bar and kids slides. Lots of sun-loungers to sit by the pool. Nice buffet area near the pool for lunch. Complex and rooms are clean and well maintained.

We spent a week at Kantenah in Jan 2025. Overall the hotel is very nice, the facilities are good, rooms are clean, good range of restaurants, great pools for kids and a really nice white sand beach right in front of the hotel.

“Great Value all inclusive for nature lovers!”
I have been to the Riviera Maya 6 times and stayed at different hotels, twice at El Dorado Royale, once at at Valentin Imperial, once at an all inclusive in Cancun Hotel area but can’t remember the name. I usually go as a couple and we spend a bit more, this time I brought my mum and gran and so I payed the bill but I still wanted a similar or same experience, I was hesitant to book this hotel as it had more mixed reviews but overall was cheaper then the others and after thorough reading I decided to give this a go. I have to say there is not a lot to worry about! and totally worth it, definitely good value. if you are someone that is used to extremely good service you may be a bit annoyed that the golf cart to take you to your room takes 10mins rather than immediate or that the app to book the a la Carte restaurants isn’t great, if you are a bit like that and complain about the smallest of things go somewhere else that costs a bit more. Overall I believe it was really good value, there are three hotels in one, two large areas with pools, and one that has a kid area. It’s a bit of an eco hotel, so there’s a lot of iguanas, tropical birds, Coatis, Sereques and we even spotted some racoons late at night, if you or your kids love animals and nature this is the most ‘at nature’ I felt in all the resorts. In this hotel there are a lot more Buffets than others which is also great for eating what you want when you want and running back to the pool or beach. The drinks are better at other resorts but beer was good and spirit+mixer, cocktails were a bit hit and miss but who cares. A lot of the restaurants were fully booked when we arrived for the weekend, such as the Japanese, but we just booked something else and we were impressed, the food at El Dorado Royale is amazing, here it is really good, but if you don’t mind paying more then the other one is better for food.
