“Such a short stay in a beautiful peaceful cottage. Longer there would have been so nice.”
The location for this cottage is beautiful. So peaceful and the Bellbird song was amazing. The facilities were great. We could have walked down to Akaroa but it was quite late and the road narrow so we took the car. We wished we had booked for two nights.

Beautiful location, so quiet and gorgeous birds singing away and the lovely fantail saying hi each morning. 5 min drive into Akaroa. Loved the fireplace each evening. Size of the property was great.

“A calm and relaxing place to stay. Worth spending a few days there.”
A lovely place to stay, quiet and peaceful. Well set up, nice living area and good bedrooms and the outdoor area was lovely also with good seating. We loved seeing the kererū hanging out with us, and a small tūī. Can’t comment on how well the cooking facilities worked as we brought cold/reheatable food for our one evening there, but looked fine. We left with plans to return with partners.

“A nice relaxing peaceful stay.”
The gas hot water meant there was lots of ( almost instant) hot water. The four of us had a shower after sea kayaking and another before bed. It was great not to have to worry about running out of hot water.
