Lovely little spot. Short walk from Tebiro beach which is - even by Amami standards - mostly deserted. Surprisingly good air-conditioning, too. Needed it!

“The best place for tropical nature and surfing lovers”
The place is just incredible. It’s located 2 minutes from the most famous surfing beach of Amami, the famous heart rock and the goat farm with great ice cream and fresh mango smoothie. The Amami “crater” side is just 30 mins by foot where you can have plenty of delicious food in local restaurants. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, the place is kept exceptionally clean. My room had air conditioning, so it felt fresh even in the hot tropical summer. Thanks to this accessible accommodation I have had the best tropical vacation! ありがとうございます！

This hostel helped me recreate a cozy homely atmosphere during my trip and feel the traditional unhurried Japanese rhythm of life. It is a good place for surfers or for anyone who wants to enjoy the nature of the island.

The owner is very accommodating, not fussy. Walk distance to the beach and bus stops is a plus.

“Great place, great value. Hope to be back!”
The location was great - a 5 min walk to a lovely beach. Very laid back. Kitchen facilities were good. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay with kids!

The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The property was near a beautiful beach and it was not too far from the bus stop. Unlike a hotel, there were shared spaces, so we were able to talk to the other guests casually and it felt really at home. We were also able to get lots of good recommendations of great food and places around Amami, so that was a big plus!!

“Awesome beach, Casual atmosphere, bikes & surfboards available for use.”
Tatsuya was kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond by helping us collect our things at the bus-stop, and getting us to our next hotel. We enjoyed casually sharing the kitchen with other guests, and proximity to a fabulous beach. We appreciated being able to rent the bicycles too! Made it easy to visit an excellent Cafe up the street "Green Hill" Wish we could have stayed longer. Oh, and the price was right!
