This is a small hotel and the owners are a very warm and welcoming couple. It felt more like a home than a hotel and both Sylvia and Edu were so attentive and helpful. They both did their utmost to make my stay there as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I had an evening meal and it was all beautiful local produce and the breakfast was equally excellent. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a touch of quality in everything they do here. I love their environmentally friendly ethos and Sylvia And Edu's way in life. A fantastic experience and I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Highlight of my trip to this part of Spain.

Alima Surf Hotel is an absolute delight. The building itself is beautifully designed with stunning views over the surrounding coastline. Everything is spotless and so well maintained that it still feels brand new. Every detail is thoughtfully provided – you really have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. What truly makes Alima special is the couple who owns it. They’re genuinely warm and welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure every guest has a memorable experience. And of course, the surf: great waves, often uncrowded. The owners local knowledge is invaluable – every day he pointed me to the best spots for the current conditions. I can’t recommend Alima Surf Hotel enough!

A really clean and relaxed space with exceptional sea views. So much care and attention has been taken to ensure that the lounge area feels like you are home, the bar area is well stocked and all the bedrooms are a really good size and all with sea views. Fresh and plentiful breakfast every morning and a good range of dinner options as well as a surf shop and surf school on site. Lots of outdoor outdoor seating to enjoy the views and a short walk from two lovely beaches and local hiking. The town of Ajo is a short drive away and has loads of restaurant and food options. Next to the beach there are a couple of really good restaurants and a chiringiuta which served up fantastic food and atmosphere every day. They both speak really good English but great at helping improve our Spanish. Eduardo is a great surf instructor and our teenage girls had two really fun sessions with him and his daughter. Sylvie was really attentive, always making sure that we knew the best spots to go for a walk or to the beach or for food.

Very close to the beach, lovely and warm lady at reception, simple yet yummy breakfast, the room is bright and spacious. The surrounding is beautiful.

The design of the hotel provides incredible views of the coastline from the room, lounge and restaurant. It has a really relaxing vibe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great location. A very relaxing stay with nature all around.

Such na amazing view from the living room Ares and also the bedroog. Waking up with an oceaan view is a dream and the start is super friendly.

Very nice looking boutique hotel on top of a hill, with amazing views from the room window and the bar/breakfast area. If you keep a window open at night, you only hear the sea. Great bed and shower. It's definitely worth walking a bit further to the second (slightly hidden) surf beach.

Location couldn’t be better. Amazing views from the room, were you can see the beach and sunset.(also, big and comfortable bed) Rest of the hotel facilities are super comfy, the living room and terrace with views are a really cool Spot to chill, read or have a coffee. Edu, Silvia and the little Malia are excellent hosts and make you feel like home, plus they have all the local knowledge for hikes, beaches and plans near by. Overall, excellent stay
