A very amicable and forthcoming host who does everything possible to make your stay comfortable. He’s knowledgeable and charming, ready to share what he knows. The homestay is in a quiet and beautiful location, hidden in a loud and chaotic town, reminiscent of the kind of bungalows I had lived in as a child. The gardens are sprawling with beautiful foliage, a gurgling fountain and chirping birds. Sometimes in the morning hours you can hear peacocks and koyals. I really appreciate the personal touch here, especially the beautiful furniture in every room.

“Beautiful Homestay, highly recommended”

Very beautiful property in Ajmer, unfortunately we stayed only for 1 night. The guestrooms are in an old villa with a beautiful garden. The lake and some restaurants are very close, 10 minutes by foot. Both the owner and the staff are very kind and helpful.

“Best stay in the area”

The guest house is immersed in a fresh and colourful garden. The room is simply amazing. It's super spacious and clean. The washroom is clean and well equipped. The host and the team are welcoming and always ready to give support without being annoying. We wished we could stay more than one night. Consider to spend more time to relax in the garden. Badnor House is located 10 mins far from the bus station in Ajmer. The bus takes 15-20 mins to reach Pushkar (way cheaper than any other means of transport). Usually it departs from bay 21 or 22. You can buy tickets at the bus station. Moreover, Badnor House Is no more than 10-15 mins from Ajmer train station by tuktuk. We had breakfast and we asked for some sandwiches to go for the train trip. Highly recommended!

Kishan is a wonderful host—always welcoming and ready to help with anything you need. Far from the noise of the city, this is truly one of the best places I have ever stayed in India. “Paradise in Ajmer”

Stepping out of the chaos and noise of India into an oasis of calm. The garden rests the soul. The layout of the garden and the rooms is to be admired. The attention to detail in the fittings and fixtures, most especially the bathroom were high end design. For once it was a pleasure to shower without wetting the whole room!. The breakfast was balanced and suited to our requests. There was even fruit supplied which again is in short supply elsewhere, despite it growing everywhere. Staff were unobtrusive but always available. Kishan seemed to somehow glide through his duties almost floating on air! Sanjay the aristocratic owner was keen to impart his wide knowledge of everything india and even gave us a magical tour of the grounds of his old school. Eton but with sunshine. By

Lovely big room with period furniture and modern bathroom. Delightful peaceful garden with birdsong and friendly golden retriever. A gem of outstanding value. Easy walk to the main sights. Charming staff and very helpful owner. Nice breakfast on the verandah.

Wonderful haven in the middle of the city! Badnor House has a very beautiful garden. The room is very well equipped and has beautiful furniture and decorations. Everything is extremely clean, from the bedroom to the entire property, which is very well maintained as if it had been restructured just a few months ago. The owner is very nice and kindly provided advices about the city. The breakfast too was amazing -fresh, tasty and generous. The amount we spent is very reasonable as per the quality of the service. This property truly felt like a gem. We stayed one night and left regretting we didn’t spend the entire week!

The owner, Mr Sanjay is one of the best hosts we have ever encountered. He gave us a lot of tips and information about Ajmer, Pushkar and other places we wanted to visit. He was checking on us, regarding our trip even after we left his hotel. We highly recommend his hotel. You will feel like home. Also, the hotel has all the commodities and facilities you could have and as a plus, you are a bit away from the main road and his place is so peaceful you will plan to stay longer. If you are in Ajmer, this is the place to stay. You will thank me and Mr Sanjay trust me!

Located quite close to the railway station as well as the Dargah. The property is very well maintained, with neat and clean spacious rooms and excellent toilet. Only very light breakfast is served (toasted bread/ poha with tea/coffee/juice) at a reasonable price.
