“Highly recommended for a peaceful, traditional stay”
We were highly satisfied with our stay. There were 5 of us in total, and the property features a gorgeous traditional Japanese design. It honestly feels very similar to the famous samurai house in Aizu-Wakamatsu. Keep in mind that due to the traditional architecture, the house is very thin-walled. As a group of five, we had to walk on eggshells at night just to use the toilet without waking the others. Loud conversations can also likely be heard from the street. This place is perfect if you want an authentic, quiet Japanese experience. However, it is not suitable for anyone looking to party or stay up loudly at night.

The house and all the amenities provided were excellent. The place was a perfect combination of a traditional Japanese house and modern needs. I would highly recommend staying here for a night or two.

“Wonderful renovated kura!”
Easy location not far from the castle and other sightseeing spots. It was very convenient to have a parking spot. The house is beautifully done, just bring warm socks if you are coming in winter, it is a old house and the floor is cold. The bathtub was wonderful and the bedroom upstairs beautiful. Our family loved it!
