The accommodation was absolutely beautiful! Johanna, Fabrice, and the team were very friendly and helpful. We received many great tips for excursions, and they were really excellent! The location is also very good, as it allows easy access to typical sightseeing destinations. The property itself is very quiet and perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay here so much, we returned for another night. The attention to detail we experienced here was truly outstanding: Johanna helped with planning our day trips and arranged an exceptional hammam and massage experience for us. The food was amazing as well: breakfast was abundant and we enjoyed our vegetarian dinners here. I can recommend trying the extra goat cheese course, it is exceptional.

“Perfect stay at Maison d'hôtes Tigminou”

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison d'hôtes Tigminou. Johanna and her team were exceptional hosts, we felt immediately at home. The rooms and resort are beautifully designed, with plenty of places to relax. No ask was too much, and the food at the restaurant was unbelievably delicious! We especially loved meeting Apache, Zoulou, Bongo, Pygmee and Dinka! A thoughtful guide curated by Johanna really helped us maximise what we saw in the area too, thank you so much to the whole team.

“Truly lovely”

An absolutely delightful property a short drive away from Ait Benhaddou. Johanna is wonderful - she takes such care to ensure you have a good stay. The rooms are simple but have all you need, and the swimming pool looks lovely. However, the best bit about the stay was the food!! So far it’s been the best we’ve had on the trip, you can tell her husband and sous chef really take care about the menu, and all courses were truly divine. Don’t skip!

Tigminou was a little desert oasis🌵 Perfectly situated between Ait Benhaddou (13 min drive) and Ouarzazate (25 min drive), it has a beautiful garden and lovely staff who were kind, attentive, and gave great local tips. Thank you to Johanna and the whole team!

“Excellent hotel”

Great small hotel with lovely staff. Rooms were great and the breakfast was excellent. Ideal location for visiting surrounding areas. We had dinner one night at the hotel and the food was very good.

Maison d‘hotes Tigminou has so far been our favourite place during our trip in the interiors of Morocco. The rooms are equipped with everything you might need, the beds are comfortable, and, above all, Fabrice is an excellent cook and Johanne a very attentive host who will give you lots of valuable advice what to do if you stay in the area for several days. Try also their traditional hammam which is a very relaxing experience! We highly recommend this boutique hotel and wish Johanne and Fabrice all the best.

“Escape place”

Incredible traditional but in the same time modern place with amazing cuisine and helpful service. We stayed there on our way from Merzouga to Marrakesh and were lucky to get some tips on how to visit Aït Benhaddou and not be scammed. Great service and a very pleasant dinner, ambient atmosphere in berber-style housing with a garden around

Lots of attention to detail, all decoration looks local , nice tiles and carpets, plenty of outside sitting areas. Best bit is one of the owners is the chef and food here was awesome

“Great place to visit the area while avoiding the bus tourists”

Perfect hosts and a lovely set of Berber houses that are kept spotlessly clean. We had food there every evening with a good glass wine or beer even during ramadan
