Overview
Set on Pioneer Bay, Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat offers deluxe suite and penthouse accommodation with a balcony and free Wi-Fi, just 3 minutes' walk from Airlie Beach. It features a zero-horizon pool and lush tropical gardens. The retreat comprises of 1-bedroom suites and penthouses, with clear views over the Port of Airlie and the Coral Sea. All units have a stylish interior and feature galley kitchens and spacious balconies with a hot tub or spa bath. Penthouses provide 4-poster beds and a separate dressing room with its own balcony. There is a private sun deck as well as a guest BBQ area and native bird-watching opportunities. Guests can enjoy in-room massage and beauty treatments. Waterfront Whitsunday Retreat's tour desk books trips to the Great Barrier Reef. There are limousine transfers to Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport available.

location was great for the greyhound and pick up for scenic flight. staff were nice and offered to clean our room every day. (bonus points for the coffee machine and free washing machine) can’t recommend enough

“Over priced, underwhelming, dated, rude staff. Would not stay again.”
Name of property is deceiptful/not accurate. Not waterfront at all. Staff stated a required $200 security deposit needed after payment was complete, which was NOT disclosed prior to booking/payment through description or policies on booking.com. Reception staff was rude when made aware that this had not been disclosed in description and refused to check site claiming no time and continued to argue/insist it was. IT WAS NOT and this room would not have been booked if it was as tracking multiple refunds due to return to account is inconvenient while holidaying. Room was dirty, dated, lacked tasteful decorating. Bathroom very dated and unclean (evidence of bugs/insect infestation falling on floor from lower wall) Couldn't use aircon as continuously dripped a lot of water on the floor. Uncomfortably hot on the summers night! Was not soundproof as described. Staff attempted to enter prior to us vacating the room claiming a key had been dropped off. It had not so he mustve had a second. This could have easily led to Staff entering room at a time where privacy was essential.

“Clean modern room”
Not far from town . Easy walk. No taxi or uber recognises the name .. so used name of next door. Chairs by pool were comfy.
