Located in the Écrins National Park, in the hamlet of Ailefroide, a famous climbing site, Hôtel Engilberge is a family-run hotel set in a large park with garden furniture. “Great”
We love Ailefroide and we love this family run hotel. The room was lovely, with a balcony and the food was nice. Shame the guests next door to us were so noisy which is unusual for Ailefroide, and definitely not the hotel’s fault.

Lovely old hotel located in the heart of The Ecrins National Park. Beautiful views. Clean air. A very lovely and hard working family run the property. We had dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was very good. Breakfast was OK.

Excellent food (the truits are delicious!), friendly family atmosphere, excellent location close to the campground where part of the family was sleeping, which was very convenient.
