This guest house is first rate. Dinner is offered and worth accepting. Carrying heavy luggage up stairs could have been an issue, but I had a helpful husband and daughter.

“A good value place to stay with family, in a charming situation, with a pool”
We had a great stay here, it's tucked away in the countryside, but only a short drive to town. The hosts were amazing and even cooked dinner on the first night we arrived. Oh and did I mention the pool! Our kids loved it on the hot days.

“A lovely rustic tranquil stay in a renovated manor house with nice pool area”
This was a lovely renovated rustic manor house in a quiet rural location at the west end of the Lot Valley. The host Mathieu was very friendly and enthusiastic and produced a lovely 3 course dinner for each of our 4 nights and took great pride in his cooking. We stayed in the large bedroom which had a huge private bathroom across the corridor with bath, shower, toilet and a wash basin each. It was in the attic with 40 steps up. The other bedrooms were on the first floor. There was a lovely outdoor eating area (sometimes used for weddings) and nice pool area with table tennis on the nearby lawn and a small pool table in a nearby building. We virtually had the place to ourselves (first week of June). There was bike hire in nearby Aiguillon and Clairac for cycling along the River Lot.
