Overview
Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges is a private escape in the tranquil surroundings of the Gal tee Mountains. The historic Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel, are both within 30 km from the property. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas of the property. Deluxe en suite bedrooms are beautifully appointed and each room features a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Most have panoramic views of the Galtee Mountains. Also situated on the grounds of the hotel are Scandinavian-style self-catering lodges, each with 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge which open onto a sun deck. The very best of Irish and European cuisine is served in the Hunting Bar Lodge and The Treetop Restaurant until 21:00 each evening. Both the bar and restaurant overlook the Glencush Mountain peaks. Tipperary Racecourse is 13 km from Aherlow House, while Holycross Abbey and Mitchelstown Caves are within 40 minutes' drive away.

Room 104: The Shower : In a narrow bath. Shower curtain too short to prevent water “flooding” onto floor. Curtain constantly in the way whilst showering. Recommend a fix glass / perspex panel instead of a curtain. A fixed shower head in preference to a movable head on a hose. Bedroom lighting too dim!

Lovely quiet location yet not too far from Tipperary town. Clean room and public areas. Beautiful views of mountains from spacious hotel terrace. Tasty food and a fine breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

“Nice get away break in the glen”
Very good evening meal. Staff very good friendly & helpful, beautiful setting in the glen of Aherlow. Nice walks all around the hotel. Nice old bar & restaurant, lovely patio area for weddings looking over the glen

“Loved the location, loved the staff loved the food but please after travelling long distance a good mattress is a must”
The staff were amazing,polite ,friendly and attentive, large airy room, large en-suite The breakfast was unbelievably tasty, as was the evening meal ,well done to kitchen staff probably the best breakfast we’ve had in any Irish accommodation .
