“Very pleasant stay- beautiful quiet beach mornings”

Super nice and quiet hostel. The owners are very sweet and flexible.The location is really nice, with a beautiful small beach in front of the door. It’s between ahangama and midigama and very good connected with the bus. Even walking was for me a nice option to both towns.

Clean and calm place with lovely hosts. I really enjoyed my stay. The café was great.

Well located hostel directly at the beach, owners were pretty friendly and the rooms are clean and the beds comfortable.

A very kind and friendly couple who work there. A big kitchen space, and the free water tank was a nice touch. Just across the road you have an incredibly quiet and beautiful beach, and there you will find a sweet family who have a make-shift restaurant on the seafront - delicious breakfasts!

“Fantastic stay”

Everything! The hostel was super chill with it feeling more off a home. The staff we unbelievably accommodating, with even towels being provided. The location is perfect to all of the surf spots and I would highly recommend this place to people who like a chilled environment. There is even a beautiful beach opposite the property which is quiet than most.

Really good hostel ! You have the beach in front of the hostel, the restaurant is good, and it's close to ahangama ! People are really nice !

“Family run cute hostel with view on beach and great food at café”

Lovely hostel. The owners are so nice. There was no atm close by so the owner drove me on his scooter. This café is lovely too and the chef makes the best kottu I've eating in Sri Lanka! You can eat with a view on the ocean. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and not very crowded. A lot of people staying here are long term guests that surf.

I booked an AC dorm. When I arrive. They asked me to pay extra if I want the AC dorm! Which I booked already! and when I refused to pay because my booking was with AC dorm already, the woman got mad at me and not respectable at all even it’s not my fault, I asked the guy who is working in in the cafe to translate for her in the local language because I thought maybe she didn’t understand me, but even after that she still wants me to pay extra for the AC !

Everything was very nice, good value definitely!

“Loved my stay”

Loved it so much here that I stayed a whole month. There is only 10 beds so everyone especially the long term stays connect really quickly. It's across from the beach with great views from the cafe (which also has great food). Everyone working there went above and beyond for the guests and we became a little family. Incredibly grateful for this experience.

Very new and comfortable hostel with kitchen and chill area. Amazing staff ready to help with all questions. Beautiful beach just across the road.

“A peaceful stay away from the buzz”

Nice beds, room had a private washroom, over looking the beach not a crowded one, laundry service and the food was exceptional

Liked the clean rooms and comfortable bed.

The staff was extremely kind and you really felt welcomed. Hostel was clean, beds were comfortable and all this to a cheap price. Will definitely go back to Ce Lon Vie if I visit the South Coast again!!

“Family feel hostel in midigama!”

such a nice hostel- only 10 beds in the whole place, it has a family feel and the beds are wider than a normal twin. the staff are really easy going and there is a restaurant upstairs that is a nice place to eat and chill in and watch the ocean. most of the rooms just have one bunk bed in them so you can sleep really well without any noise! About 10 minutes drive from Weligama and Ahangama as well as a 10 minute walk to Midigama.

Very nice hostel just in front of the sea! If you are looking for a nice place to chill near the beach, this is the perfect place. The host was so kind and helpful! Everything was very clean and the restaurant upstairs offers delicious food! I recommend this hostel also to solo travelers!
