“A must stay at Mi kasa boutique hotel”

As soon as we arrived we were made so welcome, like we were part of the family. Angelina on reception had telephoned to make sure we arrived whilst reception was manned and that she'd be there for our arrival. She explained everything about the hotel, the surrounding area, walks, town square etc, then showed us around the small but beautiful hotel. They brought our luggage to the room which was spotlessly clean, spacious with a lovely balcony and even better view. Breakfast was in the garden and pool area and was plentiful,varied and far exceeded our expectations of a breakfast buffet. We loved everything about this small hotel and its friendly staff members.

air conditioning didn't work. Fortunately, weather was still OK to sleep without AC.

1) quality of breakfast was outstanding. Freshness of fruits, the taste and variety. I’m gluten intolerant, so they had GF bread available. 2) Restaurant De Ville next door is a class apart. Super presentation and freshness of the sea food is ordered. And don’t miss out on the desserts, which were top class too. 3) friendliness of the team, and in particular Anna at the front, and Paqi, the hostess at breakfast.

Location was great - everything was walking distance. The Staff were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was probably one of the best we’ve had so far! The SPA was amazing!

An exceptional, small and friendly hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious (loved the little chocolate bowls!). The staff were friendly and polite, lending us parasols, chairs & towels to take to the beach. The pool area has two small well maintained pools, one in the sun and a second in the shade. We'd recommend choosing a room with a sea view as ours came with a balcony overlooking the pool. It had sun loungers and a table. The hotel has a spa, tennis courts & a Michelin recommended restaurant (we didn't try it). While the village of Agua Amarga is only small, there are a large number of restaurants to choose from. We'll definitely be returning to the MiKasa.

Stayed some years ago some excellent improvements since. The staff treat you with confidence and make you feel at home on arrival.so good we are going back in 6 weeks

“We wished we could stay longer!”

A very beautiful little hotel. Not only is the pool beautiful, but there is a gorgeous room behind the reception where you can read, relax and pour yourself a drink. The breakfast was impressive too. Our room was clean and perfect for our needs. Across the road is the spa, we didn't use it but we did use the gym. They have a tennis court and rackets/balls you can borrow which we loved (even though it was quite windy).

Beautiful small hotel with many individual touches. Lovely buffet breakfast in the garden by the pool or on the terrace. Very relaxing and lovely room with a terrace.

“SUPERB AND UNMISSABLE”

One of the best hotels I have stayed and I have known many in the world as an international journalist. Everything is perfect, in particular the magnificient breakfast, the swimming pool, the staff at the reception and the location. This place is a jewel.

Small friendly hotel, great location. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. Several lounge/ relaxing areas. Two outdoor pools ...one covered, the other is a salt water pool surrounded with garden areas. Fabulous breakfast ... home made jams are so good! Staff are all happy and friendly - Angie ( Angelina) on reception is excellent with information and suggestions. The spa is a 90 minute session, to be booked in advance - very worthwhile. Free parking across the road. A few minutes walk takes you to the village square and seafront , with plenty of tapas bars and restaurants.

Angelina greeted us and escorted us to our room which was lovely and a small balcony overlooking the pool. The property itself is gorgeous and there are lots of places to sit quietly and it feels like you are in someone's home We loved the trust in the guests to help themselves to drinks and the pool area was lovely. The little touches made the stay even better, for example towels available by the pool and all the candles lit in the evening around the property. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved all the little notices especially different types of chocolate and fruit and yoghurts. The hot food on the buffet was also lovely. Parking across the road was easy and the Villa restaurant next door to the hotel was superb We had a fabulous stay and we could have stayed longer.We will definitely return and maybe choose one of the beautiful suites next time

Best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel - totally yummy and delicious and healthy too. Staff were especially kind and helpful. The hotel was like being at home in relation to comfort. The architecture of the building and special attention to detailing was wonderful and much appreciated in every part of the hotel. It was also fantastic to have a Michelin Starred restaurant beside the hotel that served us with the most delicious lunches and dinners on at least four occasions during our weeks stay.
