We received an extremely warm welcome from Ankit and his wife. The place is very clean, beautiful, and has a very peaceful atmosphere. The property is about a 10-minute drive from the Taj Mahal, and the neighborhood is very quiet. We also had the chance to share a short meditation moment in the evening, which was very pleasant.

Our stay was awesome! Ankit and Lahar (the hosts) felt like friends — they were incredibly warm and kind, and we even made some plans together; they brought us to visit a rural area nearby which was very interesting. Their house is in a good area in Agra, it’s really beautiful and peaceful, and the room was big, super clean, and very comfortable. We 100% recommend everyone to stay there if they visit Agra.

Perfect place to stay in Agra

“A beautiful stay in every sense!”

Soul’Stay was exactly what we needed — and we didn’t even know it. We had just escaped from New Delhi the day before, still disoriented from our first impact with India, and somehow we ended up in the home of this incredible couple. They welcomed us with such sweetness, kindness and professionalism that we instantly felt safe and cared for. They treated us like family. Truly. We asked them for everything — advice, help, company, time — and they were always there, with a smile, with patience, with genuine warmth. We shared long conversations on their beautiful rooftop terrace, had breakfast together, and slowly found our balance again. It became the most beautiful “baptism” into India we could have wished for. Their home is peaceful, clean, cosy and filled with good energy. The rooftop is wonderful — a space where mornings stretch into hours without you even realising it. The chef was also incredibly kind, always present, helpful, and attentive to every request. But the real magic is them. We arrived as guests and left as friends — and I’m sure our paths will cross again somewhere, someday. We’re still in touch, and they will always remain one of the highlights of our journey. A beautiful stay in every sense. Highly recommended for anyone who wants comfort, authenticity, and a home away from home.

Soul'Stay was a wonderful quiet retreat in Agra. Ankiit and his wife were wonderful hosts who were very communicative and even took us on a food tour. They gave great recommendations for sites to see and had many wonderful conversations. The room and space was new and clean and very peaceful with great amenities. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely lovely time at Soul Stay. Hosts Ankit and Lahar made us feel welcome and were very helpful during our time in Agra. The location is on a quiet street far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to the Taj Mahal and other tourist attractions. The room is spacious, clean, and has its own balcony. The home cooked meals were delicious and we spent evenings with Ankit and Lahar learning about Indian culture. Ankit took us on a walking tour around Kinari Bazaar where he showed us the markets, a Hindu temple, and some great local food. Ankit and Lahar also helped us organise our onward journey to Jaipur with a trusted driver.

Homely place to stay with really friendly hosts who have a lot of local knowledge of the area. Fresh home cooked food at an extra cost is available at the homestay. Did a relaxation and sound bath session with the hosts which was a lovely surprise to our stay.

The property itself is spotless clean, incredibly cozy, and offers a serene atmosphere that invites you to truly relax and enjoy slow time. I truly appreciated the tranquility of my room as well as the inviting common areas, such as the balcony, rooftop, and living room. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious homemade food available. Every meal was a treat, prepared with so much care and bursting with flavour.

We loved our stay with Ankit and Lahair, they are so open and welcoming and the rooms are big with balconies. The room is very clean and the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We extended several days because we enjoyed ourselves so much every day. The rooms are cleaned every day and the common areas are tidy and welcoming, especially the rooftop terrace where we enjoyed many nights. The food they serve is homemade and there was not a single one we did not love.

Beautiful home stay and the hosts were so helpful, engaging and the place is so close to the Taj Mahal. The hosts helped me book an amazing full day tour guide around Taj Mahal and Agra. Would definitely recommend

Lovely hosts who are interested in chatting to you, super helpful, made you feel welcome, and it's a nice environment which attracts other interesting travellers to stay. We arrived late and had dinner prepared for us which was so good! We could have stayed longer but the less than 24 hours we were there was a great experience :)

“Exceptionally welcoming, with fresh breakfast, meditation / sound bath session, excellent recommendations”

Ankit was an amazingly welcoming host! My partner and I enjoyed our time at Soul‘Stay a lot. We slept well in our room with a comfortable bed, airy with a ventilator and an AC, a good bathroom and windows protected against mosquitoes. After our early morning at Taj Mahal, Ankit made a fresh smoothy bowl with nuts and granola for us (a list of breakfast options against a small charge provided). Exceptional was that we were also able to participate in a mediation / sound bath session facilitated by Ankit. He also gave us good recommendations for restaurants/bars, specifically The Molecule, an open air rooftop bar with good Indian food.
