We had a wonderful stay at Stamatia's Garden. Evanthia made us feel so welcome. The room and studio were clean, comfortable, fresh and thoughtfuly equipped. The beds were comfortable, and the sitting out areas very pleasant. We found everything we needed to cook a simple meal in the studio kitchen. The garden setting and greenery all around made it very peaceful and relaxing. We loved the flower scents, the garden bookshelf and sitting areas, in addition to those of our rooms. The beach is just a few minutes walk away and was perfect for a swim before breakfast, as well as a day on the beach. The bay, particularly on the right hand side, is so beautiful with rocks, little caves and pine trees above. The little village has three places to eat, which between them give a really good range from pizza (we had a takeaway and ate it on the beach) to an upmarket seafood restaurant. The bay faces west, so the restaurants are perfect for a sunset view. There is also a small minimarket with basics and some fresh fruit and vegetables. The location was really good for exploring the island and for getting to and from Skopelos town. We really enjoyed the couple of hikes that we did, including across the island to the Mama Mia church. In summary, we can highly recommend Stamatia's Garden and hope to be back again next year. Thank you Evanthia, and see you soon!

Eva was a wonderful host. The rooms were neat, tidy and clean. The garden is exceptional. And all of this, just a minute's walk away from the beach.

We stayed for 12 days in September in Stamatinas Garden, which is a little lush, green paradise, like an oasis you think you’d only find in the middle of nowhere. Still, the resort situated in a garden full of a great variety of flowers, trees and plants is just a very short walk (around 50 meters) away from Agontas bay, a charming little bay with a beach, minimarket and 3 taverns. The room was always very clean, the size perfect with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. In front there is a spacious balcony with a view of most of the garden, and in the back there’s a little space for hanging clothes. You can’t park in the garden or right outside, (though you can drive in for unloading/loading luggage,), but there’s a parking lot in the bay just a 100 meters away where we always found a space. The host Eva, her mother and sister are very friendly and helpful, and know the island by heart. There is a fully equipped common kitchen which you can use whenever you want, and as the rooms are few it functioned beautifully. The only, expected, problem was the bugs (outside) that you cant avoid with so much green around, but a citronella candle took care of it usually. We do recommend the place and are definitely coming back

When we saw Stamatia's Garden on the internet years ago, we admired its garden and said "If we go to Skopelos, we must stay here". Finally this year our dream of going to Skopelos came true and we stayed in this cosy pension. Stamatia's Garden is a quiet and very clean place 2-3 minutes walk from Agnontas beach. It is also very close to the bus stop and the supermarket. There are two tavernas and a cafe on the beach. The ferries to Alonissos and Skiathos are a short walk away. The centre of Skopelos can be reached in 15 minutes by bus. Eva accepted our request for an hour early check in, welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of advice about the island. She also allowed us to leave our luggage at the pension after check out while waiting for the ferry. She is a very good host and a very helpful person. We wish we can spend time in this beautiful garden again.

“Nicest and most quiet place to stay in Skopelos with the greatest host”

The host, Eva was the best, we did not have any plans for the week and she recommended so many places that we couldn't even go through them all. All her recommendations were better than expected, we saw quiet beaches, tried traditional greek foods for reasonable prices all thanks to her. She also helped us to get cheaper and direct boat ride from Agnontas to Skiathos which we did not know about. She also gave us a beach umbrella so we did not have to buy the sunbeds on the beach every day. The accomodation is perfect for the price, you have everything you need for an island vacation. The garden is beautiful, great place to spend the evening with a glass of wine.

Our stay at Stamatia’s Garden was very nice. Eva, the host, is a genuinely nice and friendly soul. She provided us with excellent tips on the island. The garden is a dream. The shared kitchen is well-equipped, with everything you need to prepare basic dishes. The bed was very comfortable. Everything is clean. The beach is only a 2-minute walk away and became one of our favourite on the island. Highly recommended!

The accommodation was in a wonderful garden full of beautiful flowers, lemon trees, herbs and several places with a pleasant seating area. We felt very comfortable here. Evantia was very nice and helpful. On arrival, she treated us to a handmade Limoncello. Throughout the stay, she wondered if we needed anything. She gave us a lot of interesting information. Due to lack of space, parking was not available, however there was a possibility to park around and for free, where there was always a lot of space. Wonderful place, great accommodation, very pleasant hostess. I highly recommend accommodation. Thanks for everything, Evantia.

“Perfect location for a magical stay : this is Stamatis Garden”

Stamatias Garden is a little piece of heaven. The rooms are set in the most beautiful gardens, each room has their own patio and 'private' garden within the greater garden area. The rooms are of a decent size with an en-suite bathroom and a share-communal kitchen.There is a lovely selection of books on a stand in the garden for guest to read which previous guests have left behind for others to enjoy. The location is perfect! Set in a tranquil area of Skopelos, close to the beach (80m) and to the three Taverna offering both authentic Greek cuisine (Pavlos) and Korali offers a variation of Fusion Greek food, and short walk to the bus stop should you wish to go into Skopelos Town. Evanthia is the most hospitable owner, friendly and accommodating. One arrives as a guest and leaves as a friend.

The owner was so friendly and helpful. The position is convenient. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Skopolos. It was great have a small kitchen in the garden area and to be able to eat in the garden

Evi, the hostess, was really kind and helpful with whatever we needed. She recommended nice beaches and restaurants! The room was very clean and also very beautiful. It also had a fridge. The kitchen was shared and it had everything you would need. Chora (down town) is 10 minutes far by car. I definitely recommend this place.

The place is exceptional in its buety and simplicity. We had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, the room and facilities clean, the kitchen had everything we needed and the garden is amazing. Eva the owner was friendly and helpful and made are stay at her place feel like home. Perfect place if you are looking for a simple and quiet get away.

Very friendly host. The place has a really beautiful garden (even nicer than on the pictures). There is a table in the garden for every room. You can grill outside. There is a great restaurant in the village and nice beaches around.

The place is so beautiful and Evanthia and her sister Maria were the friendliest hosts. A stay is highly recommended!
