Worst Airbnb Experience Ever – Unsafe, Unhygienic, and Rude Owner We booked this ground-floor apartment for a family holiday, but it was an absolute nightmare. Dont't be tricked by the nice photos that are displayed! Owner extremely rude and only cared about money. No hot water unless we asked her to turn it on with a special key. On arrival, there was no cold water either — just two pots left for us. No basic supplies: only half a roll of toilet paper. When we asked for more, she said: “This is not a hotel, buy your own.” Filthy and unhygienic: dirty carpet, stained shower curtain, dusty shelves, rusty and noisy fridge, dirty plates and cutlery. Unsafe outdoor area: a wasps’ nest above the dining table — my 10-year-old daughter was stung, and my mother, who has asthma, was at risk the entire time. Horrible sewage smell near the barbecue area, with the roof falling apart. After just two days, my mother, my daughter, and I developed severe enterocolitis with fever, vomiting, diarrhea, and strong stomach pains. Our holiday was ruined and even the following week we were still recovering. We have contacted Booking.com, our lawyer, the Greek Ministry of Tourism, and the Consumer Protection Service. We requested a full refund and will pursue legal action if necessary. ⚠️ Avoid this property at all costs — unsafe, unhygienic, and completely disrespectful to guests.

the beautiful, large apartment and terrace outside, the lovely welcoming host. The apartment is nice and cool. The kite surfing spot is only 5 minutes away by car, here you are at the beach with a cool bar and kite surf school.
