The staff were delightful. They were friendly and helpful. Alexandros speaks excellent English and took us for a wonderful boat trip. Violetta made us the most amazing breakfasts. Great view from our terrace. A friendly introduction to a beautiful area.

There are places in life you simply cannot leave without hugs and tears in your eyes. After traveling through many corners of Greece, Agios Ioannis in the Pelion area, and especially Boutique Hotel Kentrikon, is certainly one of them. The smiles and the warmth with which you are always welcomed give you the feeling that, no matter how long you stay, it’s never enough — too few sunrises watched from the balcony while the smell of Mrs. Violeta’s cakes and pies starts to embrace you. Too few delights enjoyed at breakfast to the music of the ’40s. Too few evenings falling asleep to the sound of waves breaking on the shore. I want to thank all the people at this hotel for a holiday that will stay close to my heart. While I was driving up Mount Pelion on the way back home, I promised myself that one day I will return to this truly wonderful place. I’m also leaving here a few photos that capture the warm and bohemian atmosphere of this hotel. See you soon!

“We loved it!”

This charming hotel is situated on the promenade and has several levels. It is positioned a bit back from the street, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the sea without the noise of passing cars. For guests on the upper floors, like us, there is a challenging climb up the stairs, but the stunning views and tranquility make it worthwhile. You can park your car for free on the street above the hotel. A luxurious and diverse breakfast is served on a beautiful patio, and there is a pleasant seating area on the entrance floor. The staff is friendly, courteous, and hospitable. Highly recommend!

great place, incredibly delicious breakfast, wonderful view of the sea, the hotel team was responsive, smiling and always ready to help. The rooms are cleaned and tidied up perfectly every day. There are at least 4 beaches within walking distance.

We had such a great stay! The family room was super spacious and having two bathrooms was a total lifesaver with the kids. The staff were all so warm and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. Breakfast was homemade and really tasty you could tell it was made with care. The location couldn’t have been better. We honestly loved everything and would absolutely recommend it!

Extremely attentive staff, their t-shirts say 'welcome home', and that is exactly how we felt. The breakfast area is like from the movie, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. Yes the neighbours seem a bit close and you can hear everything, but that is kind of the usual holiday vibe. The downside was that our neighbours were smoking a lot, but besides that - an amazing stay.

Rooms with view are amazing. The hotel is right by the beach and all the cute family owned restaurants. The little port is also 3 mins walk. Breakfast was delicious and the common areas are cozy. Staff was friendly and kind!

This is the familiy hotel and the atmosphere there is amazing. Everyone are really welcoming and the breakfast is amazing. The view from the room is also very nice.

“Worst hotel I have been to in quite some time. What you'll get is not what's in pictures”

The worst hotel that I booked in the last 5 years and probably the worst hotel I have been to in the last 10-15 years. They show a few redecorated rooms in one part of hotel and they give you run down and small rooms that weren't redecorated from '90s (with broken knobs, furniture etc.) way up the hill. I can go on... I am shocked that booking is allowing this! In addition, they are unpleasant and they openly criticise you for making a reservation through booking.com instead of directly. It was so bad that we left after a day (throwing away the money that we prepaid)... Don't fall for this fraud

“Exceptional!”

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel during my vacation. The place was very clean, the breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of delicious options. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking sea view from our room. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway!
