“Beautiful views, lovely staff, comfortable room.”

Breakfast was good, location was picturesque, lovely beach right at your feet. The hotel organised quad bikes for us, and we were picked up and taken to our bike, which was helpful. Plus they came to hotel to pick the bikes up at the end which made things easy. Pleasant and helpful staff, and complimentary pickup and drop off to and from the port was ideal.

“A very relaxing hotel with fantastic staff”

The hotel is right above the beach with incredible views. The hotel gives you umbrellas and chairs to take down to the beach. There is a large terrace near reception that they serve breakfast on, it s a beautiful spot for an afternoon beer! There are tavernas right by the beach down the hill from the hotel. The room was very comfortable, with a great bathroom. They will pick you up straight from the port and they track the ferry timing for you.

“The big blue”

Loved our stay at Blue Sand. Beautiful location at Agali beach and you really felt like you were on holidays in the Greek islands. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful (as was the girl who looked after us each morning)...the fresh little pies were so delicious :-D. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant too. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the most special places we have stayed. Waking up to that view every morning is such a treat. The breakfast is very generous and well thought out, it even includes healthy alternatives. Our room was so clean and spacious, and the staff were highly professional. This hotel is one of the pricier on the island but definitely worth it.

“The best spot on the island!”

You can’t beat the location — right on our favourite beach on the island. Waking up and stepping onto the balcony to watch the morning unfold was such a treat, followed by breakfast with the same stunning view of Akali Beach. Days were spent at the beach in front, with the thoughtful addition of umbrellas, chairs, and beach towels provided. Evenings we would grab a transfer into Chora, making it easy to enjoy the town before returning to the tranquillity of the beach. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the room was beautifully and luxuriously appointed. Be sure to catch the 5 min water taxi around to Ayios Nicholas and spend the day at the beach and then lunch at Papalagi ( book) .

We stayed for two nights at Blue Sand Boutique Hotel, and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the enchanting view. Located on hillside overlooking the stunning beach of Agkali, the hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere where you can truly embrace the serenity of the surroundings. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, with thoughtful attention to detail — from the quality of the linens and room amenities to the tasteful decor. We especially enjoyed relaxing on our balcony, with its cozy pouf chairs and boho-chic style, as we watched small boats come and go in the bay below. The staff were absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home. Mrs. Katerina and her entire team were warm, friendly, and genuinely accommodating — delivering excellent service with a true sense of hospitality. We would definitely love to return. Thank you! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We traveled with 2 toddlers so this seemed to be the best fit for us being on the beach and it did not disappoint. The staff is beyond helpful, the driver that took us to the chora was incredible.
