Apartment lies next to Souq al Had market area, the larger area is run down and dirty, not the greatest walk home, if you're on foot, the immediate neighbourhood to the apart however is clean and quiet. The furnishings are rather worn out and especially when it comes to cutlery, towels and bed sheets you would expect something else. The bathroom is rather smelly and I stumbled over cockroach in the bedroom while trying to connect lamp. Fortunately she was single! Also there was sand on the bedsheet (from the previous guests?). Overall condition, while not a catastrophe, certainly does not correspond to price. Definitely overpriced! To be fair, the host is friendly and welcoming, he waited for us until late to hand over key and communication was easy.

The property was very nice and the location was practical having in mind the great souk. A supermarket was also in walking distance and the neighborhood was quiet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the security staff made me feel safe throughout my visit. The apartment was really clean and spacious, well equipped, very good location, hanout, souk lhad and everything you need are nearby. Staff was very welcoming, property was better than expected. Short walk to the Souk. I would definitely go back. Great local restaurant in walking distance where you could buy chicken and meat of your choice and get it barbecued or cooked in traditional ways on affordable price. Host was great . Thank you

“Spotless apartment from a fantastic host”
The apartment was just perfect. It's on a great location, not far from the shops. The apartment is spacious, clean, and if you open the window in the living room and in the kitchen it has a nice breeze throughout the house, so it stays cool even during the really hot summer days. The bathroom is spotless as well. The hosts were so nice, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment. The house was well equipped with towels, bin bags, toiletries, everything. We couldn't ask for a better stay, I can't express enough how wonderful our hosts were. Thank you! :)
