Surrounded by the 2000-metre high Nockberge Mountains, Gästehaus Reicher is situated at 710 metres above sea level in Afritz am See. Free WiFi is available. The comfortable rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a balcony with scenic views of the Carinthian mountains. Gästehaus Reicher is a 5-minute walk from Lake Afritz, and near to the city of Villach, Lake Millstatt or Seeboden. You can explore the surroundings during a mountain bike tour or through one of the numerous wonderful hiking tours. Italy's border is a 25-minute drive away. In the wintertime you can benefit from the nearby ski regions of Bad Kleinkirchheim, St. Oswald or Gerlitzen.

Very clean, comfortable spacious room, fully equipped, hard to find something missing. Even mini fridge with complimentary drink is there. No noise, soundproof wall, very silent accommodation. Bed very soft for me, I prefer hard, but it depends on personal preferences. Great breakfast. Very satisfied, definitely recommend it

A wonderful homestead and lovely decorated thru out. Breakfast buffet was delightful with many choices of cold cuts, cheeses, jams, fruits and flower butter. The outdoor gardens with the various seating areas are also a nice touch. Highly recommend!

Gästehaus Reicher is a lovely, well-equipped accomodation with a great location. We arrived hours earlier than expected, which meant no problem to the owners, kindly checked us in, and gave us a clean and cosy room. Situated up on the hillside, the guesthouse provides you with a great view on the mountains and with a sense of tranquillity. Breakfast in the garden is a treat ! The nearest lake (Afritzer See) and the main services of the town (Afritz am See) are within walking distance, while by car you can reach Bad Kleinkirchheim (cable car, hiking, summer tobogan, downhill cycling) or Ossiacher See (swimming, cable car, adventure park) in less than 30 minutes. As for catering in Afritz, we tried Gasthof Linder in an uphill sidestreet near the church, which I would recommend for its laidback vibe and nice views. Pizza&Goodies in the centre of Afritz is also a good choice if you seek a more simple (but great) option. Familie Reicher, danke sehr !
