Bühl 3 B&B is an inexpensive B&B located in the beautiful Swiss countryside. The owners speak at least English and German, maybe other languages too. Our room was well prepared and the shared bathroom was clean. The owners showed us how they milk their cows and even let us taste some fresh milk. They were super nice and friendly.

It was a great experience to stay on a working farm in a beautiful part of Switzerland. We enjoyed a tour of the farm from our host and a great breakfast. The room was comfortable and cool even though it was a hot summer day.

“Sleep like a baby in an authentic farmhouse”

I slept like a baby in this authentic farmhouse, in which I felt like going back in time (but with a new bathroom). There is something peaceful about this place, which is not about luxury and extras, but about grounding and connection. The hosts were welcoming and warmhearted and the breakfast was made of local products. They farm cows, pigs and spelt, and you can visit a cheese making demonstration in the village (lovely 20-Minute-Walk) and a mill in the region (accessible by bus). It's also a great place to stay if you go to kreativtraining.ch.

“Wonderful and welcoming”

We had a wonderful time at Buhl 3. The Muller family was very welcoming and made sure all our needs were met, with a smile. (which can be quite a few, travelling with two very small kids) Great tips on where to go or what to do. The room and outdoor area are very comfortable. We loved seeing the animals at the farm and of course, the landscape all around is just incredible.

It was a superb stay. First of all the place is so beautiful surrounded with lush green meadows and hills. The Bühl 3 is amidst the beauty of nature. The property owners, Mrs. and Mr. Müller were amazing hosts and very friendly people. My family and I were touched by their hospitality. We ordered breakfast and Mrs. Müller served us fresh homemade and delicious breakfast. It is a Kid-friendly place. They also give you a tour around their farm, kids can see how cows are milked. As a guest you could feel the warmth in their hospitality. Room was cozy and warm. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful to have this unique experience. Wonderful hosts showed us the cows and pigs, and brought us a plate of wonderful cheese, homemade bread and tomatoes.

“Perfect family getaway”

Great hospitality by hosts. The place is clean and cozy and surrounded by one of the most beautiful regions of Switzerland, walking distance from the famous Emmentaler cheese's birthplace. The farm is quiet and has relaxing atmosphere. We loved our spacious room which was spotless clean and had comfy beds. We (or especially our kids) loved the farm tour where we got to feed some cows and piglets. Breakfast was simple but consistent of high quality local products and was fresh and filling. We'll definitely be coming back!

The location was exceptional. Views all round of the Emmental valley and mountains. Excellent breakfast and very friendly host who offered plenty of local tips on restaurants, etc. Only 15 minutes walk from the Emmental Schaukäserei.
