Great spot, vibe and among the best food we had in Georgia! Very recommended!

“Exceptional stay, great food, and fantastic host”

We had an exceptional stay at Panorama Guesthouse Mata C. As a couple, we chose to stay in a dorm room for once, because of the great reviews for this guesthouse - and we never regretted it for a moment. The dorm is impeccably maintained (including two bathrooms and a lovely balcony with stunning views). The host, Tamar, and her (partly Svan) family (who spend summers in Adishi and the rest of the year enjoying an urban life in Tbilisi) is truly a gem and goes above and beyond for her guests. She is very caring and makes sure you feel safe and comfortable. Her cooking skills are exceptional. On a single burner, she served up a lavish feast for dinner and an outstanding breakfast. Pure, unique, and the most flavorful homemade food we had in Georgia. We also learned so much about the country and her culture from her. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tamar! An absolute must-stay along the multi-day hike from Mestia to Ushguli.

“Perfect”

Loveliest host I have ever met. She was so friendly and welcoming and made us a delicious dinner and explained everything she had cooked to us in perfect English. We spoke to her over dinner all about life and Georgian history. This was my favourite evening in Georgia - would highly recommend

Historic building with a long family history. The host was delightful and made a real effort to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

“Beautiful courtyard”

It's a dormitory above standard. Surprise us the host is an intellectual lady from Tbilisi, she runs this guesthouse in the summer and put a lot of efforts on preserve Sveneti local tradition, we've learnt a lot from her. The dormitory is inside the old house and can see the internal structure of the celling which is really cool. And there's a balcony outside the dormitory with cozy bench, it's a nice place to see the milky way after dinner. In the courtyard there's a big apricot tree, just imagine the blossom in spring!

Very comfortable stop on our Mestia-Ushguli trek. Tamar provided us Turkish coffee and a snack in the afternoon. We shared the dorm room with another nice family.

The host spoke perfect English. The food was great quality. The space was clean. The views were good. Overall very good.

“Beautiful, authentic Georgian experience”

A beautiful property in an authentic Svanetian village. We had incredible food cooked by very friendly hosts in the evening and morning! Got to try some home cooked dishes that I hadn’t got to try elsewhere in Georgia which made the experience even better. Great conversations around the lovely dinner table! Thanks a lot Tamara!

Comfortable

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom looked recently renewed. The terrace and garden were nice places for relaxing (the hosts even made us a campfire!). Everything was very clean. The breakfast and diner were very tasty and with a lot of variety. The hosts spoke good English and were happy to answer any questions.

Tamuna is an exceptional host! Welcoming, friendly and communicable. The guesthouse is easy to find, you have amazing views all around. Adishi is a very small remote village, at Mata C guesthouse you get as much comfort as possible considering the context. Food was very delicious and good value for the money. We were 9 people in the group and everyone agrees that Tamuna and her familu has been one of the best hosts! Highly recommended

“Unique highlight of our hiking journey”

The host truly made this a unique and exciting experience. She could tell us about village life, speaks excellent English, cooks truly flavourful food. When arriving at the guesthouse she made us a pot of mint tea and gave us cookies and cake (which really is what you want after a long day of hiking).The balcony of this accomodation is stunning. The dorm wasn’t fully booked which was nice (we don’t necessarily like sleeping in dorms, but because of the amazing host, food and balcony we would recommend this to everyone!). It was our favourite guesthouse. If you’re doubting, please don’t and just book it!

A Cozy Stay with Engaging Conversations With a group of five young men from the Netherlands we enjoyed our one-night stay at this Adishi guesthouse. The host welcomed us with a neatly arranged dormitory, instantly creating a homely ambiance. The highlight was the delicious Georgian meal the host cooked for us, along with some really interesting conversations. Her openness and inspiring stories left a mark. The facilities were good, offering a refreshing shower after a day of hiking. But what really hit the spot was the personal connection. It wasn't just a regular guesthouse; it's a place that offers genuine experiences and heartfelt talks. In a nutshell, if you're seeking more than just a place to sleep, the Adishi guesthouse is highly recommended.

The host was extremely helpful and attentive. The dorm room was spacious and clean and had a lovely balcony to overlook the river. The dinner and breakfast was delicious. This was our favourite place that we stayed on the mestia-ushguli trek. Thanks!

The staff and the food was amazing. The view from the balcony as well! I would stay there again. The host also speaks perfect english so we could connect with her and learn a bucnh about svaneti/adishi and Georgia :)
